On Sunday, November 24th, the Affirming Team will be leading worship alongside guest speaker, Ruth Noble, executive director for Affirm United. The service will put a focus on the UnClobber Passages highlighted in this week’s book feature, “UnClobber: Rethinking Our Misuse of the Bible on Homosexuality,” by Colby Martin.

The book reexamines the Bible’s verses that are often used to condemn homosexuality. It breaks down these six verses, offering fresh interpretations that support 2SLGBTQIA+
inclusion in Christianity. Please find the book in the Faith library to familiarize yourself with Unclobber passages before November 24th!
