Maybe I'm just in the honeymoon phase, but I love planning, cutting, prepping, sewing, turning, and finishing these bags!! They come out so nicely and they're so satisfying 😊

Soooo I've been obsessed with a new pattern this weekend!

This taller Dopp-style boxy bag is like a more sophisticated sibling to my shorter ones. I used the DIY Cloth Dopp Kit tutorial from instructables.com as a jumping off point.

I use plenty of high quality interfacing for sturdiness, premium seatbelt webbing, classy zippers and pulls, and the pattern has a really unique way to deal with post-turn seams - they're all contained within the inside corners! Very clean.

As you can see I loved my prototypes so much I've started to cut into my half-scale geo prints from - prepare to see plenty more of these!! And they're hidden but my linings are epic blenders I snagged from 😘 👌 They're perfect matches!

My apologies to anyone who is awaiting cap restock... Sometimes I just need a pause and to follow some new shiny passion for a quick minute!! ♥ I'll be getting back to my regularly scheduled sewing this week 🙈

From humble beginnings!

This was a cork board I pinned polymer clay charms to for my first ever craft show way back in the mid '00s - it feels a bit cringe but I think it's important to look back and see how far I've come as an artisan!

My business name, show displays, and product mix has changed a LOT since then, but my enthusiasm for making cute anc colourful things persists 😊
