Our mission is to make homes and lives better for all, and we are incredibly grateful that we can help support women and children leaving domestic abuse and violence through the Kelowna Women's Shelter.

A huge thank you to our customers that choose to pay it forward when purchasing their furniture and decor with us! When you pay by debit card, EFT, or cheque, we put 1% of the total purchase price towards remarkable local charities helping those in need like the Kelowna Women's Shelter does. 🫶

BRAND NEW BEDS!! We are so grateful to Home Living for generously donating 6 single mattresses, 6 single box springs, and 2 double box springs for our Kelowna Transition House!

Replacing the old beds has been needed for quite some time and these new beds will allow our women and children to rest well and comfortably!

Marshall's Home Living isn't stopping there. As they receive more stock they will be delivering more beds, helping us reach our goal of eventually having brand new beds throughout the entire Transition House.

We can't emphasize enough the impact this will have for the women and children leaving their abusive environments to come and stay with us. To be able to rest well as they begin their journeys to healing is everything.

The Marshall’s Home Living team is thrilled to be able to celebrate an incredible 15 years of service with our talented warehouse manager, Landon Krueger. ✨ We ask a lot of Landon, and he always supports our customers and our team with a professional and courteous disposition while managing our warehouse, service calls and any furniture repairs needed, not to mention all the requests we throw his way daily. Our white glove delivery service goes above and beyond other delivery services thanks to the delivery checklist that Landon ensures his warehouse team follows and he’s always brainstorming on improvements behind the scenes. 👍

A true outdoorsman, to relax Landon takes time to golf, mountain bike, hike, camp, kayak, fish and hunt. He’d love to have his own isolated cabin on a lake someday! 🌅 We’ve also learned he has some great cooking skills, but also has a bit of a weakness for chips, beef jerky and pepperoni!

Marshall’s Home Living is a Kelowna, BC based leader in the fine home furnishing retail industry, and we are looking for a friendly and customer service-oriented Senior Furniture Sales and Design Representative. This role will provide knowledge of merchandise to customers, explaining complex features and differences between merchandise and providing purchasing advice to customers, for both in-stock and custom order sales. You will help design or engage with a Designer to help customers make the best furniture purchase for their space. While furniture or interior design experience is nice to have, it is not required. However, your past experience excelling in high-end retail environments developing relationships with high-end clients will position you well for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and maintain customer relationships in order to generate future sales opportunities both for retail customers and 3rd party interior designers
· Maintain knowledge of all vendor products, pricing, options, finishes, details etc.
· Determine client's needs and provide knowledge of merchandise to customers, explaining complex features and differences between merchandise and providing purchasing advice to customers
· Assist in the maintenance, appearance, merchandising and pricing of store merchandise
· Cross sell products and know and understand the layout of the store
· Provide superior customer service and support to both interior designers and end users
· Meet or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets
· Maintain updated customer information
· Elevate complaints to management when necessary
· Utilize computers to complete proposals, prepare sales agreements and obtain necessary information from customer to complete sales
· Submit customer orders by referring to price lists and product literature
· Promote sales to existing clients
· Identify and solicit potential clients
· Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
· Prepare or oversee preparation of sales
· Consult with clients after sale or signed contracts to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
· Follow up with customers after the sale is completed
· Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions

REQUIREMENTS:
· Exceptional track record in retail sales environments
· Experience in “high customer expectation" environments
· Entrepreneurial and team oriented
· Coachable and self-directed learner who is always willing to learn
· High energy “people person", relentless in learning about and pleasing the customer
· Professional, driven, positive, resilient, and achievement-focused
· Detailed, strong follow up and follow through; excellent time-management skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a great listener
· Computer knowledge is required

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: You can earn over $125,000 per year
