Turbo’s had an unreal weekend, going undefeated into A finals. Had a great battle against the Outsiders taking it into extra inning! 2nd place in A - well done team!

Outsiders had a tough battle back against the Turbos but pulled out 1st place in A and an undefeated season - well done ladies!

What an incredible weekend ladies. Thank you to everyone who adjusted schedules last minute, played in the rain, raked fields (HUGE thanks for this one), supported Jeff and overall came out and had fun. It was a pleasure being on the executive this year, while a lot of work, we have a great team right now so hopefully the league can continue to grow! If there’s feedback for the executive please ensure you attend the AGM we will have in the fall so we can address any concerns. Also, we will be planning a ladies league wind-up…stay tuned for more info!

Good Morning All!

We have been hearing that ladies are not pleased with their fields, especially when we are on M5 on the occasional Friday. We would like to let you all know that the board would of course pick the quad whenever available, however, the city has multiple fields booked and reserved and many times they don’t use them. The way the fields work is certain leagues have dedicated fields depending on the day of the week. If they give this ‘spot’ up they lose it. So the city maintains some of their field spots on Fridays to use for makeup games, etc which makes them unavailable to us. We would also like to remind everyone that being on this board is multiple hours of FREE time that we all put in to try and make this league run smoothly, we all do the best we can so please try to remember that when complaining about how things are done. We are also more than happy to answer any questions about why things are done a certain way, so just ask.
