Last official weekend of Summer y’all let’s absolutely GET it . . . we’re open all weekend of course and so stoked to be jumping into Apple Fest with a massive thanks to for organizing what’s turned into a behemoth effort of local business supporting local producers after the closure of BC Tree Fruits.
We’ve partnered up with .farms to bring you some of the finest Okanagan apples out there, and here’s what we’re doing with ‘em:
🍎 apple toast - caramelized vanilla apple, sweet cream ricotta and shaved almonds on sprout sourdough
🍎 charcuterie board - apples 3 ways! (fresh & crispy, honey pickled and housemade apple chutney), salamis + prosciutinno, Brie, Grana Padano and our Danish sprouted rye bread
🍎 apple panini - apple, ham, Brie and maple syrup on sprout sourdough
These tasty little numbers launch on Friday and we’re here 7:30 - 4:30 all long weekend . . . so get out there, get some sun, then come fill yer bellies with local goodness and support our farmers 😘

Maybe you noticed our sexy new acoustic panels go up a few months ago . . . we thought it would be a good opportunity to freshen up the paintwork a little - and so we have Kelowna’s hardest working students on the case…working long into the night they’re getting us all light, bright and fresh once again.
We’re still open regular hours everyday and by next week you’ll never know what happened . . . except we’ll be sexier than ever! 💋

NEW FEATURE MENU ⚡️
Not only have the kitchen crew been slaying the busy services, but they’ve also been working hard on some amazing new feature items to utilize the first of the seasons fresh, local produce!
🌻 local spring salad: fresh asparagus, cherry tomato confit and crispy chickpeas on a bed of local spring lettuce
🌻 brie + prosciuttino toast: local prosciuttino, brie cheese, apple and fig compote with honey and bee pollen on house sourdough (you may remember this one from our Mothers Day specials 👀)
🌻 bahn mi baguette: marinated pork loin, spicy aioli, carrot and daikon pickle, cilantro on a sprout baguette
Were also very pleased to announce that Laticia’s Mushrooms on Toast has graduated from feature menu to full-time menu 🫶
That’s along with sausages on toast, classic bacon + eggs and all your other favourites!

Once again we have these cute lil Pride donuts with all proceeds going to - an absolutely terrific local, non-profit that’s dedicated to providing safe, inclusive spaces and resources for 2S/LGBTQIA+, and/or IBPOC people across the Okanagan.

We find ourselves in the company of other phenomenal, local businesses and really truly feel so honoured to be a part of your community and lives . . . honestly nothing makes us happier than seeing people come together under our roof and put good stuff in their bellies. We have such an amazing team and you have no idea (or maybe you do!) how hard they work to make you guys smile with their creations.

Mothers are the best thing since sliced bread (trust us, we’re sliced bread experts…) so this weekend we wanted to put on something a little extra special to celebrate these everyday heroes ❣️
From the pastry sorcerers we have a hazelnut praline crème puff with strawberry gel, vanilla whipped cream, fresh strawberries and candied hazelnut.
And coming out of the kitchen a new Brie toast special featuring Brie (obvs, lol), Italian Meat Master prosciuttino, housemade fig & apple compote and a honey drizzle.
Wash it all down with a bottle of piquette - a light, sparkling and refreshing little treat - for just $5 a glass or $20 bottles.
We also have limited quantities of these STUNNING bouquets from our mum available today and perhaps tomorrow if they last…but I would try get in quick.

Do you like water slides, skydiving, Formula 1 race car driving or running with the bulls? Then allow us to satisfy your unquenchable need for fast-paced, high-octane, adrenaline-pumping action with a JOB IN THE KITCHEN!!!
We’re looking for another cook to join the team 3-5 days a week. No late nights, even share of the tip pool and no chance at boredom…but don’t worry, it’s not as intense as I’ve made out above…just a little busy sometimes 😘
Experience helps but we’re mostly looking for someone with a positive attitude and solid work-ethic who can reliably help with food prep, dishes and running line.
We’re also looking for a weekend dishy if you or someone you know is looking for one of the most tangibly rewarding jobs in the world.
We have a great time and we make great food with great ingredients so why not add a little great to your summer?

Well, it’s with heavy hearts that we have to farewell one of the Greats…
Piper joined us in May of 2022…a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed student of pastry with a quick wit and infectious laugh. What began as after school granola making shifts quickly turned into mastering the art of lamination and eventually - lo and behold - to fearlessly leading our pastry department 🍩
So many of the beautiful and delicious creations that have filled your bellies and warmed your hearts over the past few years are thanks to Piper…so even if you haven’t met her she’s been an important part of your lives and this community!
Pipes could usually find a way to make anyone laugh…and you can guarantee that if you left your phone laying around unattended then you’d pick it up to find a nice little album of Piper close-up’s on there 📸
We had a cheeky send off at last night and the sheer number of staff that showed up (nearly everyone! Which gets harder now with 40+ employees!) is a real testament to the positive impact Piper had on her work environment and the people around her…
Piper has achieved so much in her 2 years with Sprout and we couldn’t be more proud of her…but now it’s time to hit the road back to Saskatchewan and run the cutest little ice cream shop in the Prairies - give them a follow and keep up to date on everything Piperonni gets up to…she’ll go far!
