As promised, we have now donated a duvet for every one that was purchased and we have succeeeded in putting a new duvet on every bed at the Kelowna Gospel Missions womens shelters. Harmony House, Shiloh house and Selah homes (2) for children and women. They are committed to meeting the needs of women in crisis and their transition away from cycles of poverty and addiction to independent, fulfilling lives. Selah homes are affordable long-term housing for women on limited income. Some of the tools they offer in their recovery program include Wellness Plans, weekly exercise programs, counselling, conflict resolution, and Bible studies. They support those dealing with mental health as well as addiction issues.
