New For Fall 2024: Live Ball with Calvin!

Live-Ball is a new program coming to Global Fitness. This entire hour is spent playing points from all angles and directions with little breaks in between. Played in a doubles format, “challengers” take on the “champs” as Coach Calvin starts new points as soon as the previous round ends. This high-octane version of tennis can be found all over southern-California and has become a “must-try” for anyone looking to have a blast on court. Anyone at or above the rating of a 3.0 is welcome to sign up.

"Hello, I’m Marc - a Registered Massage Therapist here in Kelowna. My brother Paul and I have started this business, Okanagan Sports Therapy, in hopes of trying to change the way people view massage/manual therapy.

As a former university athlete, I have endured my fair share of injuries and found the best type of rehab was a hands on approach. This is what led me to becoming an RMT, and exploring a more preventative path to treating clients.

My clinical approach starts with:
1️⃣ A sound assessment,
2️⃣ Treatment guided by relevant findings, and
3️⃣ A tailored home care program in order to supplement treatment goals.

I am a firm believer that a combination of treatment and home care exercises is what helps clients progress at the fastest rate possible.

I enjoy treating high level athletes, weekend warriors, and people who are motivated to get their lives on track and back to doing what they love. If you have nagging injuries that are keeping you from being as active as you would like, I’d love to hear from you."

We'd like to welcome David Serra to our coaching team!

David, an avid and accomplished racquetball player, with 33 years of playing the sport he fell in love with at the age of 8, is not only BC's No 2 ranked player but has most recently won the BC Provincials Championships. In 2022, he competed and finished in the Top 10 at the National Team Selection Event in Alberta earning a career-best National Ranking of 19th in Canada. As a Junior, he has achieved 2 National Doubles Gold titles. He is also the Executive Director for Racquetball BC Association, enjoys coaching kids of all levels through the New Racquetball Canada Badge Program, and spends his time with his wife and 3 kids.
