T2 Volleyball

This amazing coach has been an inspiration to so many! I have learned so much from her program and am lucky to have got a chance to learn in her gym! We will miss seeing her in the BIG role but I know she will still have a huge impact on that program and many others with her amazing mentorship programs she runs! Congrats Lori!!

Following a remarkable 31-year coaching career with Pandas Volleyball, the Hall has called.
Six-time National Champion Laurie Eisler will be inducted into the Volleyball Canada Hall of Fame on August 30th.

We had all T2 Teams this year in the gym on Wednesday getting ready for our last events coming up!! Super pumped to finish strong and get some results!!

Today we have 3 teams in the U14 Category fighting for spots in TIER 1!! What an amazing accomplishment coaches, players and parents! It takes a village and we are so stoked to have all our u14 teams competing at the top this year. Good luck to all the teams as this event will place teams at provincials and we would love to see some top spots taken at provs by Okanagan teams!!

Great to beat some top teams this weekend and take a top 8 finish! Unfortunately we had another tough draw but actually beat the champs in pool play, but coming out ranked 1 after pool play put us up against a tough Raincity Team and out of the top 4 for the weekend. We came up short of a one game loss event to thunder who had improved a lot and pushed us just a bit too much!! Congrats to KVC taking a top 4 spot and getting two teams in the top 8 for the Okanagan!! It’s nice to see teams repping the Okanagan strongly! Our crew Black team took silver in tier 2 and Vernon’s sky u15s took gold so we might see several more Okanagan teams in Tier 1 this year!! Whoop!!

Just launched!! Our 2023 Beach Vb Training Opportunities for all ages and levels. I often get asked if we only take high level players, and the answer is always the same, “no we take everyone into the beach club that signs up before running out of space!” Many of our players start out the same, keen and super interested in learning, and this can lead to a high level achievement later on, as with the right coaching and patience, this can happen!!

We won’t likely be doing any camps so if you want to learn from our amazing coaches, please sign up for the beach training today as we have limited spots and won’t be able to go over these limits!

Early bird pricing is on now, until April 24th!

We start July 4th and go for 5 weeks until Aug 4th! So if you have holidays in August this is the perfect amount of training for ya! Also, we will be hosting events and some fun play dates for the kids to get in on!!

Great job U14s!! We had three teams competing and several of our older players coaching this weekend so this was very exciting! Everyone showed up and we ended up learning a lot! I am super pumped to see their development and where they are heading! Congrats!!

Another KTOWN WOMENS OPEN in the bag! 20 teams came out to compete in the second KTOWN WOMENS OPEN EVENT and it didn’t disappoint. The Bean Scene was kind enough to get all our players a good morning meal and WTFast had the Better At Beach videographer come out and get some shots of us playing (they will post some video soon). We are super thankful to have all the community support we have and be able to showcase local talent across the board. We had u14-pro am players out enjoying the sun, music and our new commentator Erin “short shooter” Johnston who commentated the final due to the organizer (me) making the final!!

Another beach season in the record books! Today was our last day…but we still have a few events to show off our hard work!! Good luck to everyone competing in Provs this weekend and we look forward to continuing more hard work in the upcoming Preseason training!! Love these kids!! 💯

We have our fall program now online!! I have had so many people ask when it’s coming out, and we finally got our gym confirmed so we have the info now online and registration is open too!!

This year we have two training groups open to newer/novice level players: NEO (beginner) and u13/14/15 Novice. We also have several invite only groups as we have a lot of returning players but you can apply to be in one of these groups by emailing [email protected].

We are excited to have the 2022 preseason opening for registrations tonight and are prepping for another amazing development season.

These kids! Well, strong confidence girls really… have inspired me greatly all year and brought back my love for coaching. I’ve always enjoyed coaching and seeing development but after some tough years that came with two COVId years, it was so amazing to come back “with a bang” with these amazing u16s. All our teams this year had so many successes and we saw so much growth but these ladies had a tough route from the start and they really proved themselves to be a force provincially as well as nationally. We fought a battle of attrition at the end at Nationals but when we were at our strongest, we proved to be a top team in the nation beating some really good top teams. Though, honestly, all of that is great, but not as great as seeing the tremendous personal and professional/athletic growth that each athlete and even coach had on our team this year. A huge shout out to our coaches Alanna and Shauna for putting in the love and passion they did each session and event they were able to make! This year wouldn’t have been as amazing without them! All the parents were tremendously supportive and helpful all year long. Being at the top means sometimes that not everyone gets in big games and this year everyone had a role for our team that made us stronger but we could have had a lot of negative emotions from players who didn’t get to play as much as they would like (or parents), and yet we didn’t. I am forever grateful for this as it just makes the job so much more enjoyable and our team successes truly amazing. I love this group so much and can’t wait for more to come! Thanks for the best u16 season ever!!

These guys went in ranked 1 and even with all the pressure and tough first round game loss against the eventual gold medalists, still had fun and gained a lot of experience for our next big event…Nationals! Congrats to learning how to compete at this level and here’s to another two weeks of learning and growth!

Congrats to the winners of the U14 Okanagan Regionals this year! Our U14 Black team!! And all our other teams that competed hard in the u13/14 championships! We will get to see how we match up with the rest of the province next weekend! Congrats!!

Congrats to these U16s on a third place finish at the first Super Series in two years they could attend! After losing to a very tough FVVC in three sets, they took the bronze only losing to one team all weekend! Our next event is at Provincials in three weeks! Great job ladies!

What a great weekend and experience for these amazing athletes. Coming 5th in this event is nothing to shake a stick at so great job U16s! Can’t wait for what’s next to come!! Put in the work, and the sky is the limit ;).

It’s that time of year again…we are gearing up for beach!! As soon as the snow melts and the sand thaws, the beach is enticing!! If you wear leggings and long johns, you can probably even do it if you really want! But here at T2 we like it to be hot out so we have our summer volleyball training posted online, but it’s not starting till June! Of course, some of our keeners will be out there real soon, but the heat is on June-July for our Beach Empire that this year we hope to do some traveling with…maybe even to Seaside Oregon for the biggest Event in North America!!
