Just to clarify, as we are closed for training on Mondays, the next day we will be open will be Tuesday, September 10th. We look forward to seeing you then!
We love to hear from our customers. Last week we received this lovely message:
Dear Cafe staff,
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of enjoying your Bloom Burrito. It was delicious! The amount of ingredients was perfect, and the crispiness of the wrap was lovely! Thank you.
The smoothie was delightful, too!
Thanks for supporting our learning experience!
We will be closed next week in order to prep for fall and update our programming, see you on the 10th!

What is Meals For Home?
Meals For Home is a way for us to turn local produce into healthy and low-cost meals to help our community! Since all meals are prepared using fresh, donated produce, your contribution of either fresh produce or monetary support are always appreciated!
Produce donations can be dropped off in the donation box at the cafe :) Monetary donations can either be dropped off in person or made on our donations page of our website at bloomskillscentre.com/donations
Coming soon to our Meals for Home menu: Homemade Tomato Sauce!!!
MEALS FOR HOME!
Come in and check out our new frozen meals including Green Bean Casserole, Bloom Beet Burgers, Lasagna, Kale Soup, and much more to come! These meals are made based on what ingredients have been donated to the cafe at that time, allowing for more variety and new meals as we receive new donations! Get these options while they last!

We love hearing from our friends and supporters, whether through email, telephone, or good old fashion snail mail. If you want to send us mail though, we have a different mailing address than our physical location. This is because Centre 70 isn't registered with Canada Post. If you try and send mail to Centre 70, it bounces around the mail system for months. Sometimes we are lucky and one of our neighbours gets it. Or sometimes it gets redirected to the Invista Centre. Sometimes though it gets lost in the ether. Please reach out if you would like to send us something so we can make sure you have the correct mailing address so we can say thank you!
Another way we bloom in our program is by taking the time to help and assist our peers! Whether it’s in the kitchen or the garden, everyone at bloom is always ready to help others to achieve excellence!
We would like to say thank you to the Lakeside Community Garden for providing the cafe with donations of fresh produce!
Today we have LOTS of delicious baked goods and treats! Be sure to stop by for cinnamon buns, lemon loaves, cookies, muffins, parfaits, and strawberry rhubarb crumble!
Come in today for an oat, mango, and blueberry yogurt parfait!

We would love to give a HUGE thank you to our OT students, Misia and Arabi for all their help and support over the past few weeks! We greatly appreciate all of your hard work and kindness :)

We also bloom by caring for our friends in the kitchen! Yesterday was Shannon’s birthday and through a cake, gift, and decorations, the team worked hard to make it the best birthday possible for Shannon! By having fun some days and making our friends feel special on important occasions, we all bloom into more caring and happy people!
