We lost one to decision and won one tonight! Congrats to both Matt and Tye for putting in the work and stepping in the cage. Shout out to our awesome team of coaches Cory, Dan, Chris, Ty Wilson and Corey for not just supporting them today but through the whole journey! A special shout out to our friends for welcoming our guys in and assisting them with their training, you guys are the best! , you rock. Thank you for making the trips to Kingston and inviting the guys to Tristar to train. You all made this an amazing experience.

Teammates Tyeson Hunt and Matt Harrigan will be stepping into cage, representing Hayabusa Academy this coming Saturday night! This will be both athletes first mature MMA. Let’s fill the stands, purchase your tickets in advance here at the academy for $40.00 per ticket. See Janet at the front desk to purchase. Tickets are $50.00 at the door.

Congrats to all who participated and joined the a.m. classes, they were a success.
Congrats to our three winners, we will have your prizes available by Wednesday, August 14th for pick up.
We are excited to report that our pilot project was a success and we will continue to offer the Tuesday and Thursday a.m. classes (6:10 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.) for the remainder of 2024.

Our final teammate stepping in the cage on August 17th at the Warrior Within fights in Nepean. This will be Tyeson's (Tye Tye) 2nd MMA fight, first amateur. Super excited to watch him step in the cage, he has been working hard.

We are just four days away from Professor Elliott Bayev visiting. If you have not reserved your spot for the seminar this Saturday, it isn't too late.

Here is teammate number two, Matt Harrigan! This will be Matt’s MMA debut. We are excited to watch him step into the cage on August 17th at the Warrior Within fights in Ottawa.

Our first of three teammates who will be fighting MMA on the Warrior Within fight card in Ottawa on August 17th. Chase, Tyeson and Matt will all be training hard over the next three weeks. We can’t wait to see them in the cage!

This couple have been a huge part of the academy for the past five years! They have trained it all, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and our fitness classes! Today they are embarking on another journey. We are so sad to see them go, they are both exceptional humans. All the best to Lisa and Jeremy as they head off to the east coast! You will be greatly missed.
