We’re digging and this is where I thrive. Time is flying and I can’t believe I have only 4 more weeks before I get to feel that sticky tan, hot stage lights, and the thrill of showcasing my hard work. This is the real fun part 🤘🏼
Me vs Me 🤘🏼4.5 weeks out and this week, I had a really good “come to Jesus” moment. This will be my second season competing. My SECOND show ever. And after a fairly long off-season at that. In the grand scheme of it all, I’m fairly close to “rookie”.
I have always been a fan of that underdog mentality. Not self-doubt. But simply having humility and the recognition that there is room to grow. Room to make mistakes. Pressure is really only there if I place it on myself.
So this is my little diary entry to myself to step back, be proud, and remember that there’s only so many times in life you can say you’re new at something.
If there’s one thing I aim to be on show day, it’s conditioned. We’re COOKING now 🔥
Check-in days are elite 🤘🏼 Creeping closer to the final form and the fire within me gets hotter every single day. The work is no where near done but I’m already so proud. 5 weeks babyyyy 🔥
Typical prep things 🫶🏼
Reallyyyyy happy with today’s check-ins. The refeed did its job. My weight is basically back to its previous low before the refeed but I look (and feel) fresher and more lines are coming through.

Channeling those wonder woman vibes
After a few days where prep really felt like prep, I hit a new low weigh-in and some new lines continue to peak through. Head down, just work. 9 weeks to keep kicking myself in the 🍑
A switch has really flipped this prep. I’m calm, cool, collected, and most importantly - I’m having fun. There’s no countdown weighing over my head. I don’t dread my training. I’m not staring at the clock waiting for the next opportunity to eat.
I know there’s still lots of time for things to get rough and don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying this has been easy! But I’m genuinely enjoying every step of this journey. And that in itself is a huge win this season.
Blocking out the noise - internal and external.
Self doubt is the biggest killer of growth. So be confident in the fact that you’re exactly where you need to be, so long as you’re checking those boxes ✅
Officially 15lbs down from the start of prep and cruising along ✌🏼 Around this point during my 2022 prep, I was in the low 130’s. This time around… 150.2. That’s the beauty of a long off-season 😘

One month of prep down and it was a good one 👌🏼 Time to crush June.
Goals this prep:
1. Treat the process like it’s my first prep ever. I have a feeling this time around is going to be completely different from my first experience and I want to savour every minute of it 🤘🏼
2. Have 0 expectations besides giving it my absolute all
3. Nerd out and take notes on EVERYTHING. I’m here to learn 🤓
4. Have so much damn ✨ fun ✨
When I tell clients that 70% of their results come from nutrition, I mean it!!! 👏🏻 I’ve been working with for nutrition coaching for one month and she’s successfully fueling her workouts, learning more about the power of food, and has dropped 8lbs.
The best part? She still gets to enjoy some fun meals with her family and friends. Balance 👌🏼

If there’s one thing Katherine does well, it’s put in the WORK. Balancing a family, a hectic work schedule, and a personal life, she’s also training for a Spartan race in May while achieving new physique goals. Crazy to think this look was from only 3 months ago after a little baby cut 🥲 Can’t wait to do it for real in a few more weeks.
It’s reallyyyy easy to get in your head… and I catch myself doing it every now and then. Did I take enough time off? Do I have enough size to be competitive? Do I really fit the Figure mold?

From chronic neck pain to feeling stronger than ever, I’m so proud of 🥹 Our main focus over the past year has been mastering the basics, gaining strength, and preventing injury… and boy… she’s knocked it out of the park.
The best part - she did this all from her apartment with a yoga mat, some dumbbells, and resistance bands over FaceTime 💪🏼 Thanks for being a dream client, Karina!

Prep is going to be here before I know it and I want to enter it knowing I’ve confidently done everything I can to come back to stage MUCH better than when I first stepped on it in 2022. Crazy how you can take over a year to build and still wonder if you’ve done enough 🥲🫠

Almost exactly one year apart, almost the same weight. Completely different back 🤯 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, TAKE YOUR OFF-SEASON and take it seriously!!
