Have you seen our Gathering Spaces map?
It’s a great tool that pulls together all the spaces in Waterloo that can be used for gatherings, whether that's a meeting or a casual hangout with friends or neighbours.
It can be filtered for indoor and outdoor spaces, along with details like capacity, size, and amenities available.
By taking an inventory of community assets like gathering spaces and displaying them on a map, it helps us identify and address community needs. It's also useful for anyone in the community who is looking to connect!

Countdown to opening our new pottery studio in a few weeks!
This past Tuesday Open Night, David and Paul were working on automating waffle-making with this robotic arm. A great place to share interests, collaborate and learn.
Last night at robot club we were working on designing printed circuit boards with KiCad. It will be nice to move the electronics from the mess of wires on the solderless breadboard to a permanent PCB. Bernie Rohde gave me the clock face before he died so I put together a control circuit using a PIC16F887 because I had a bunch lying around. I coded it to have a seconds hand as well as the hour and minutes hands. None of Bernie’s clocks had the seconds hand. kwartzlab
