Reflexology by Sharon
I became a reflexologist in 2015. My focus has always been to help people.
Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive natural complementary therapy that can help to reduce stress and anxiety, release tension, and improve general well-being. If you are suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, mouse arm, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, or sciatica come to reap the benefits of my specialized reflexology training in P
Thank you to everyone who voted for me under Professional people/ Best Reflexologist catagory 2024 in the Record Readers' Choice Awards under Professional People! Your support means the world to me, and it's an honor to place in the top three and receive the Platinum Award!
If you’ve lost your groove—whether it’s in your body or your mind—reflexology is like a reset button; it may help you get it back and feel more like yourself again.
I'm thrilled about the upcoming weekend! On Saturday, I'll have the opportunity to speak at the Lex 24 International Reflexology Conference online about the transformative power of foot reading in helping someone set boundaries. It's an honor and a privilege to have been invited by Mauricio Kruchik and Mécia Vanessa Santos, two renowned reflexologists at the forefront of our field.
This event gathers reflexologists from around the globe to exchange knowledge and expertise, making it a fantastic learning opportunity for everyone involved. I'm truly grateful for the chance to contribute to such a meaningful and impactful event.
I'm so excited to be able to share my case study! Utilizing a technique created by Mauricio Kruchik for brain function in general we were able to achieve amazing results with speech, coordination, balance, and cognitive impairments. You can read all about it by clicking the link that will take you to my website. https://reflexologybysharon.com/pages/caseStudy.html

I made this video to share with my colleagues for World Reflexology Week. I thought you might find it interesting.
The count down is on. I am looking forward to the performances, the atmosphere and the food! I'm glad I have had the opportunity to be a sponsor and support this wonderful event!.
Thank you Reflexology by Sharon for generously sponsoring the Grand River Flamenco Fest for the second year in a row! Sharon is a Registered Reflexology Practicioner, trained in using this natural and safe therapy that helps to activate the healing responses of the body. There are reflexes in the feet (which flamenco dancers are all too familiar with), and by stimulating these reflexes, messages are carried along the neural pathways to the corresponding body part, triggering the body to go into a state of balance and normal functioning.
General benefits include:
· Pain Management
· Stimulate Nerve Function
· Increased Energy
· Improved Circulation
· Relaxation
· Sleep Management
· Eliminate Toxins
· Stress Relief

This was one I'm my favorite sessions! This little one loved having reflexology. Officially my youngest person ever! Look at those cute little feet. ❤️
Repetitive Strain Injury
Results of our first 60-minute session.
Repetitive movement from our job, sports, or heavy lifting can stress muscles and tendons, causing a tear. My client has two small tears in her rotator cuff due to a repetitive strain injury.
The most common symptoms of a rotator cuff tear include pain at rest, pain at night when trying to lay on the affected side Pain when lifting and lowering your arm, or with specific movements. Weakness when lifting or rotating your arm.
As you can see in the video her range of motion increased. What you can't see is that her pain level dropped from 6/10 to 0
Thank you so much to Community votes and to everyone who took time to vote for Reflexology By Sharon. Congratulations to all of the winners.
My client's have given me great feedback on this technique.
The so much more I use it for:
People suffer from concussions, low back pain, and paresthesia in the hands and feet.
Flashback was created by my friend and colleague Mécia Vanessa. It is part of her 5 Elements Theory based on TCM.
The Kruchik Method helps to release the internal and external obliques. These muscles rotate and side bends the trunk.
In the before video, the rotation to the left was very limited and my client was saying that he couldn't go any further because the muscles were too tight and he started to feel pain in his back.
You can see the motion is much smoother, faster, and farther in after the video.

This is a small clip of one of my favorite techniques in the Kruchik Method of reflexology for fibromyalgia and autoimmune diseases.
My clients love this technique. They tell me the chatter in their mind quiets, and they feel the stress leaving their body.
Reflexologists can help in so many ways.
The first thing I ask someone who has plantar fascitis is how tight are your calf muscles. When the calf muscle is tight, the strain from it pulls on your heel bone, which in turn pulls on your plantar fascia and makes it painful to walk.
My client's calf muscle was tight at the beginning of the session her leg could not rest on the bed, and she couldn't point or flex her left foot.
Using The Kruchik Method technique for Plantar Fascitis we were able to release the calf quickly, free up the ankle, get the foot moving, and relieve the pain.
If you have plantar fascitis or tight calf muscles today is a good day to try reflexology

If you can relate to any of the videos I have posted of this person maybe it's time to try reflexology.

The Mechanic
Session 2 video 1
This is one week later. You can see that he is moving slow when we start. His muscles had tightened up a bit but that is to be expected. His job is physically demanding.
The good news is that he could still touch his hands behind his back. Session 2 the adjustment was quicker, and he could go further and he could get one hand under the other.
