It’s FREE, flexible and designed for you to learn at your own pace. If you don’t have a secondary school diploma, need to improve your grades for college or apprenticeship programs, or wish to refresh your skills after time away from formal education, Academic Upgrading is an easy way to re-engage with learning.
Academic Upgrading curriculum focuses on subjects relevant to your goals and includes Math, Communications, Biology, Chemistry and Computers. Self-directed and teacher-led study options are available.
Academic Upgrading courses can be used as equivalencies for pre-requisites to Ontario college programs, helping you meet the entry requirements for your chosen field of study.

Are you working in a childcare setting and looking to obtain a credential in Early Childhood Education?
The Child Development Practitioner (ECE Apprenticeship) program is designed to give people working in childcare the chance to pursue formal education part-time, while continuing to work.
