With the last few days of Summer weather we have lots of seasonal produce still available! 🥒🍅 Our hot-house veggies will continue right through to December, including cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and greens. 🌱

You’ll also find:
- Potatoes and onions 🥔🧅 Available until first week of October.

-Zucchini 🥒 In stock for the next two weeks

-Garlic 🧄 The last of the garlic has been delivered!

- Carrots 🥕 In stock until November.

- Squash 🎃 Spaghetti, acorn, and butternut squash will be stocked by next week!

-Corn🌽 last week for Corn!

- Sweet pumpkins 🎃 Arriving shortly after the squash

- Sweet potatoes 🍠 Expected mid October

It's canning season, and tomato boxes 🍅 are in high demand. With the high demand our supply is currently limited. No need to worry though—tomato boxes will be available continuously until we close in mid-December! 🗓️

The Garden is coming to life! 🌷🐝🫛🫘🍠🍆🌽

New to the veggie barns this week:

Fava (Lima) Beans 🫘 a fibre and protein superfood! Now available in all stores except Calgary, Cochrane, and Okotoks. They will be available at these stores by Friday! Supply is limited as we will harvest the entire crop.

Beets and Potatoes! 🥔 Will be available in all stores by tomorrow. Just starting out so supply will be limited as we get started for the season!

Zucchini! Is just starting for the season but will be readily available by next week!

Also we just had to throw in some pics of Ruth’s cut-flower garden! 🪴 🌺

The true taste of summer has arrived 🥕 🥕 🥕 Garden fresh carrots are now available! With the heat you can also expect a more steady supply of greens ! 🥬 🍆🍅🥗

For field crops you can anticipate:
🫛 Zucchini, Beets, Peas, and Beens: mid-to-late July
🥔 Potatoes: Beginning of August
🌽 Corn: Mid-August
🧄 🧅 Garlic and Onions: Late August to beginning of September
🍠 Sweet Potatoes and Squash: mid-to-late September

🥵 It's been a hot week here in the Prairies, and we are ready to get a little....CHILI? 🫢🫑

We donated our veggies to Medicine Hat's Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, July 13th, from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm, in Medicine Hat's town square! (downtown on 2nd Street)
Come down and join us in chili-tasting and cheering for the food-eating contestants.
