Happy New Year from all of us here at The Andrews Group! With COVID protocols limiting the activities we can currently engage in, my goal over the holidays was to limit TV time and find things we could do as a family. Here is a picture of myself and my kids, Olivia and Leo, ice skating at Storybook Gardens. It was the first time either of them was on skates. I would say it was semi-successful :)

My daughter Olivia was Hermione from Harry Potter this year. We recently finished reading the first book in the Harry Potter series and she loved it (with a little encouragement from dad :)). Unfortunately, my son was a little hesitant about the whole Halloween thing this year and we couldn't coerce him into putting on his dinosaur costume. Oh well, next year...

One of our clients recently went through a major operation. This operation was intense and required a lot of blood. Although there is still a long road to recovery, I am happy to say the surgery was successful and he is now out of the hospital. The family was so thankful for all of the blood donors that they asked anyone who could, to please give. As you might imagine, this hit close to home for me. I've never given blood before, but this was a wake-up call to do so. I am proud to say I gave blood for the first time last week and I think I will continue to do so regularly. Our client is but one of the many people who are in need of blood every day. So, this is my "ask" to please give if you can. It truly does make a difference.
