Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day

Christian’s around the world celebrate today with pancakes heavily lathered with butter and syrup, hence the alternate name Fat Tuesday! The Marti Gras is also celebrated each year on Fat Tuesday. This is generally associated with the last day to gorge. Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday the beginning of Lent the fasting period!
