On a day as important as this, we'd like to take a moment to shine the light on someone who has ascended to great heights with The Alpha DJ Company. Before you think this is just another post gushing about how great this female is, hear us out:

One of the reasons Ashley Scott is such a powerhouse of a woman is because she didn't just see something she wanted and went for it - she created something that wasn't there. Before Ashley, we didn't have anyone running our photo booth side of the business. Then she said should could likely help run some things on the admin side of the entire business, and crushed that too. Then she suggested things would run a lot better if she could work full time hours and be the Operations Manager, so she made that happen. Now events are running smoothly with no hiccups and my phone doesn’t ring every Saturday during wedding season.
She then continued to put in the work and articulate why her position deserved higher pay, and earlier this year she took on an ownership position with us.
Just to be clear, she invented something for herself that didn't exist. If you're looking for a woman to point to as a pioneer, leader, rule breaker, and ceiling smasher this International Women's Day, look no further.
Ashley has steadfast determination, she's organized, creative, resourceful, and she does this all while leading a team of 15 male DJs.
