Traditional Chinese Medicine Tips to keep you going through December:

* Drink chai instead of coffee to strengthen the Kidney meridians (coffee can deplete Kidney Yang from the body).

* Drink hot goji berry tea (for people who are prone to having cold hands & feet, add ginger root).

* REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF PROCESSED SUGAR . Sugar disrupts the body's natural balance of energy and weakens the Wei Qi (immune system). If you crave sweets, try some whole grains like a warm bowl of oatmeal with some cinnamon, chopped apple and a titch of honey or maple syrup. Switch up your spuds for some sweet potatoes instead, to give your body the warmth that type of sweetness brings.

*Wash your hands often and thoroughly, and keep them moisturized.

* Cover your head with a hat or a hood, wear a scarf and make sure to keep your lower back covered and warm to protect you from External Pathogens. Gloves/mittens and keeping your feet and ankles warm are also a must.

*Massage the inner part of feet around your ankles and the arches and pads of your soles to promote Kidney Qi circulation (if you can get someone to give you a well-deserved foot massage, even better :) )

* Take quality time to relax and nourish/replenish yourself, and please.. do it often. You deserve it. 🌹🌹

"You are comprised of 84 minerals, 23 Elements, and 8 gallons of water spread across 38 trillion cells.
You have been built up from nothing by the spare parts of the Earth you have consumed, according to a set of instructions hidden in a double helix and small enough to be carried by a s***m. You are recycled butterflies, plants, rocks, streams, firewood, wolf fur, and shark teeth, broken down to their smallest parts and rebuilt into our planet’s most complex living thing.
You are not living on Earth. You are Earth."~

⭐️TCM Diagnosis Time! ⭐️
Looking at the TCM Spleen functions, we need to ask questions accordingly, to differentiate patterns and make the right diagnosis.
Remember Earth is at the centre in the cosmological sequence of the 5 Elements, so it affects all other systems. Digestion is the centre of our health!
- Fatigue (mental or physical): SP Qi def.
- Can’t get out of bed on the morning: SP Qi def.
- Chronically exhausted with weak limbs: Sp Qi sinking.
- Bloated after meals, loose stools, craving sweets: SP Qi def. with dampness.
- Food sensitivities, poor appetite, not hungry for breakfast: Sp Qi deficiency.
- Constant hunger: ST Heat.

Best AcuPoints to tonify SP Qi: SP 6, ST 36, Ren 6, Du 20. Add SP 5 for mental fatigue, SP 9 for dampness, and SP 3 for food sensitivities.
