Winters but make it aesthetic 😬

First Monday of 2022 & its an off lol.. we will start tomorrow 😂

Its a love hate relationship with winters but we are working on it 🥲☺️

The vibes, holiday lights, fresh snow crunch sounds and hot chocolates are some of the things which keeps it going 😍

Snow slips and wet snow boots in the house - not so much 😬

What’s your favourite & not so favourite part about winters ❄️

Do you know sometimes procrastination is not because of laziness it is because of anxiety, of fear, that the task will not be done perfectly or when the amount of work is overwhelming and seems impossible to finish.

Anxiety can be paralyzing and the best way to get over that feeling is to dive into what scares you. Here is a roundup of some things I do when things get too much to handle & I find myself not functional.

- This is my mom’s favourite tip whenever I go to her with my work problems - Break down the task into the small tasks.. do the easiest parts first.. checking off those small task will give you a sense of accomplishment and a feeling that it is possible.. & I can tell you it works!

- Reward yourself, complement yourself, acknowledge your efforts - celebrate small wins!

- Listen to music to distract yourself while working!

- Determine a time when you’re the most productive, put in the reminders and make yourself accountable!

- And last but not the least believe in your self you’re capable of much more than you think 🙌🏻

Good news is I was able to shed off the extra 14 lbs which I gained in 2020 in 2021.. Plan is to shed some more from 2019 and be even 😂

Though I am quoting numbers to look back at the journey but the best part is numbers motivate less now and the power rush & ability to unwind have become the real drives!! Deserve a brownie - what say 😬

Reels are doing great things in blowing up the engagement but I kind of miss the photo sharing app that Instagram was and that heart pour in the captions.

Worst part of working from home has been the endless unhealthy snack breaks for me. I just cannot stop munching and somehow realized I work better when I keep taking small snack breaks in between. Having said that I have been searching for healthy but easy snack options for quite some time. Fruits, nuts and original and Immune Support nut bars have been doing the trick for me for the past few days. These bars are high in fibre, are non-GMO, and gluten-free.The Immune Support bars contain pea protein and are a source of have Iron and Zinc which contribute to the normal function of the Immune system. Other thing that really impressed me was that these were wrapped in responsibly sourced paper and contains no artificial flavours and colours.

Feels amazing to have been able to replace the processed & artificial stuff with something more natural & genuine in my routine and now I am proud of the fact that I snack but I snack mindfully!!

Another day another Stonemill bakehouse nutritious bread saving the day for me!! Going along is my loaded spinach & veggies omelette - my body must be thanking me for this wholesome breakfast 😌

Many a times I am blank, don’t know how to go about a certain task but when I jump in it things start falling in line – it might take an attempt or two but works out fine every time and then I am left amused over how and why I was so unsure even without trying. Turns out we underestimate ourselves almost 100% of the time, at least I do!! Just to not go overboard and come across as arrogant but there is a thin yet considerable difference between being humble and underrating oneself.. Don’t short sell yourself, you are unique & one of your kind!!

Morning rush is real but staying at home this past year has given us ample opportunity to take out time for ourselves, for things that matter like the first meal of the day.

Been a month to my last post, took the much coveted Social media break as it was getting kind of messy with my other job getting demanding each day. I won’t lie it felt like I was on vacation – no number worries, no post pressure, no deadlines, shoots, brainstorming and no constant list of to do things in my head. But it won’t be complete truth if I don’t tell you that I could enjoy it so much because I knew it was just a Break. I missed being here & my interactions with you all, most importantly this space where I express my thoughts without a filter. The best part about being here is to be able to help some of you with your queries, recommendations or ideas. Being able to talk about my everyday struggles and still get so much love and support with messages how you all relate to it as well. This space keeps me sane, keeps me motivated and gives me amazing things to look forward to. Learning new things everyday fuels my creative spirit and keeps me going.

Yes there are times it gets overwhelming but I am quick to recognize it and take a break, short or long, as needed. Don’t have second thoughts on it; take a break whenever you feel it is getting too much. ‘It’ can be anything - Social media, Work or a relationship. A break will only ease things out and make you aware of your thoughts & feelings.

It need not be negative always, you can very well take a break from something/someone you love and be able to come back with even more clear mind, heart or feelings for them. Break doesn’t always lead to an end, sometimes it is a start..
