Mississauga lost and found pets posted that this neutered, male cat was found on Truscott Drive & Bodmin Road, cold, wet and alone.

Yesterday we performed surgery on this cutie! Her name is Greta and she was tossed away by a local puppy mill when they decided she was no longer valuable to them.

She came to Mutts this week and it was immediately noticed she was in trouble. Her urine was FULL of blood. Of course in addition, her mouth was full of rotten teeth and not spayed.

Dr. Letic popped an ultrasound on her bladder on Thursday and instantly noticed 🪨🪨 and surgery was scheduled for the next day.

Dr. Jankovics performed surgery. She spayed Greta, removed the bladder stones, and cleaned up her mouth 🦷.

Greta is just like all the other mill mommas we see. Forgotten and useless souls to their humans. Thanks to Mutts, many of them are finally given a chance to be a loved dog.

Greta is one of the happiest and sweetest little girls. Whom ever adopts her will be REALLY lucky!

This momma was found in a cave with her puppies in March. Manitoba Animal Alliance helped get them safely into foster care and receive much needed medical care ❤️

Currently they are on their way to (you guessed it!) MUTTS Dog Rescue 👏 and we can NOT wait to meet them!

Vader, 15 years old, loves getting his monthly Solensia, at home! (Yes! We can teach you to do it at home too!)

He can stay in his favourite box, watching the 🐿 & 🐦, while he gets his injection.

Solensia is great for Vader because it helps him remain comfortable. He can keep up with his 3 year old sister 🐈, play with his human siblings (8 and 5) and stay on top of ruling the 🐕 in the house!

Our RVT Gabby is a marathon runner, Emily works with a local humane society & the cat adoption team, Andrea is an artist with her our etsy business, Dr. Jankovics can bench press any of you and Dr. Pocha volunteers and supports a number of animal rescues.

Today we'd like to highlight Dr. Letic and all of her fabulousness! Not only does she volunteer at a number of clinics that provide medical care to remote communities but recently she volunteered her phenomenal veterinary skills at the 30th annual Dog Sled Races in Kearney Ontario (the largest dog sled race in Ontario)!

Teams from Ontario, Quebec, and several US states participated. Teams included 1 and 2 dog skijoring and sled teams of 4, 6, and 8 dogs.

The highlight, besides the dogs, was working
with Dr. Ron Moore who has been vetting dog sled races for 25 years.

Freya looks forward to any visit she has at Southdown Animal Clinic because she knows every time she comes, she gets to snuggle with her favourite vet Dr. P!

Dr. Pocha & Freya have been a dynamic duo for years! Dr. Pocha brings the care, Freya brings the cuteness and they both bring the unconditional love.

Together, they bring so much joy to everyone around them!💗
