Two cakes, two flavors.

One chocolate strawberry, one vanilla strawberry.

Same theme, but each with its own unique look.

Sometimes small celebrations can also have a two tiered cake. This cake serves upto 20 guests and was a fully decorated cake despite being small.

The most challenging part was making the rainbow stand and I almost had an anxiety attack 😄

Inside is lemon blueberry flavour cake covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

Loved the addition of the disco balls on this one. Gives a retro look.

Peppa pig cake ! Swipe last to see the very first peppa pig cake I'd made.

During covid time I didn't have access to sugar prints, so the first few cakes you see were all handmade using fondant. 😃

Peppa and George have had a unique journey each time on the birthday cakes I've made 😀

From bringing a gift to going for a picnic with a picnic basket!

From going on a train to jumping up and down in muddy puddles!

From playing with friends, Suzy sheep, and Rebecca rabbit to being outside their home on a sunny afternoon!

They've been there and done it all on the cakes I've made 😋

And it's still so much fun creating each one.

Follow these easy steps below to order your next cake 🎂

1. Decide on a date and occasion (birthday / anniversary/ special days) well in advance.

2. Choose a cake size to serve your guests based on the number of guests. You can size up if cake is the only dessert or size down if you have other desserts. This will avoid cake wastage

3. Discuss flavor options (consider any allergies). I do eggfree cakes too, so do mention if you're looking for one.

4. Send me a picture of your dream design or any cake inspiration (or browse my portfolio, and you might find something you like ).

5. Get a quote and confirm your order. Sit back and relax!

Pro Tip: Book your cake at least 2 weeks in advance, especially for weekends!

Ingredients:

360g All purpose flour
125g Sugar
250g Unsalted butter
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

Cream butter and sugar together till light & fluffy. This will take 10mins atleast.

Add the flour and mix well.

Clingwrap the dough and chill in the refrigerator for 15mins.

Remove and make small balls. Press with a fork.

Take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper.

Place the shaped cookies at 1inch distance each on the tray.

Bake at 170 degrees C/ 340F for approximately 10 to 12 mins or till light brown.

Once cooled cookies can be stored in an air-tight container for upto 10days.

But trust me, they won't last that long ! 😃

Whip up magic in your kitchen with my ultimate fudgy brownie recipe! 🍫✨

Best fudgy brownie recipe (Eggfree recipe scroll below 👇)

150g Butter
170g Chocolate (use half milk and half dark chocolate)
170g Brown sugar
3 nos Egg
25g Cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt. Skip if using salted butter
95g Flour
1 tsp vanilla essence or extract

1. Preheat oven to 160°C/ 320°F

2. Melt butter and chocolate together for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave until everything is melted.

3. Mix well and let it cool. Beat eggs are sugar together in a blender or grinder till frothy. Add it to the melted butter and chocolate mix.

4. Sieve the dty ingredients - flour salt cocoa powder. Add it to the liquid mixture. Add vanilla and fold gently till all is blended well.

5. Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper. Pour batter. Add some chocolate chips or chopped chocolate. Bake for 25 to 30mins till done.

For Eggfree brownies 🤎

100g hung curd or Greek yogurt ( if you have curd, weigh a little extra and hang it in muslin cloth for few hrs to separate the whey. What you are left with is thick curd. Measure and us this.

120g Powdered brown sugar
120g Chocolate
25g Butter
95g Flour
1/2 tsp salt. Skip if using salted butter
15g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1tsp vanilla extract or essence

1. Preheat oven to 160°C/325°F

2. Mix thick curd and sugar in a bowl until sugar is completely dissolved. Should not be grainy.

3. Follow step 2 from above.

4. Add thick curd and sugar blend to the cooled melted chocolate and mix well.

Follow step 4 and 5 from above ❤️

Cut little baby shower cake made last week.. the fondant stripes took longer than I'd expected 😃.. but loved how it turned out.. did you know you could get two different flavours in two tiers! 😁😎..

And just like that, this little princess of ours - Isabel, turned 8 yesterday ❤..

After a lot of discussions, she chose the Encanto movie cake and I'm glad she did ! 😄..she's been gaga over this movie ever since it released and knows all of its songs 🤷‍♀️
Tried to replicate Casita (the house) from the movie Encanto .. and the cake was behind the wall that you see in front..

I had no idea how this cake would turn out untill it just started coming together.. I think it was her belief in me that just made it come alive ..😊🥰

There's a line from this movie which kind of stuck with me.. "The Miracle is You !"
