Do you know how to fix candle tunnelling?

This was a first for me today when I lit my candle . I know exactly what I did incorrectly that caused this . The last time I lit the candle I didn’t let it burn long enough so when I lit it today , this is what happened.

Here is the quick fix if you get candle tunnelling .
