I wanted to share this post by Meraki Meráki Keepsakes - Keepsake Memory bears & DNA jewelry.
They have so many beautiful items they make to commemorate your journey and/or your losses. We used them for our Angel Bear embroidery, and I love the idea of jewlery as well 💗

“How very softly you tiptoed into our world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint your footsteps have left upon our hearts.”
We have some new friendly faces around here 💜⭐️
Introducing our new bear for our comfort boxes, the Putty Bear from 💕
This sweet bear comes in cream and chocolate colours, and our sibling add on are a smaller version of this sweet bear as well.
Some may ask why the change, our Angel bears were very very special, and we wish we could keep them, however they were increasingly difficult to source, charges to import/ship, and overall cost had nearly tripled.
We had been working with the amazing suppliers of the Putty Bears already, and thought they made a great alternative to the Angel bear. I hope these bears still bring so much comfort to those with empty arms and aching hearts ❤️🩹

As we move into the holiday season, grief tends to be more present for those who are missing someone we love. Whether it is your 1st of 50th season without them, we never “move on”.
So if you haven’t had that front row seat yet, please follow the lead of the person who has, and know that at some point in life that will be you. So be kind, show empathy, and listen to what they need.
Talk about their person, and don’t shy away from it.
We don’t move on from loss, we move through it, and we always carry our loved ones with us 💕
Please join us for the annual Walk to Remember being held in person this year at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday October 15th at 1pm 💜✨
Amy and Kim have put on this beautifully meaningful event for several years and this year marks the return to the hospital after the walk being virtual during the pandemic.
I will be there, and hope to see many friendly familiar and new faces as we walk and talk remembering our sweet babies who walk ahead of us. Please join us and show your support for our beautiful community of families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss 💜✨
Sending lots of love to all of the Mothers today 💜⭐️
Holding space for all of the Mothers grieving a loss 💜
I thought this Moms conversation about cremation of their son to his sisters is a great example of honest conversations about grief and loss but age appropriate for explaining to young kids.

For any healthcare workers who have been involved with pregnancy & Infant loss as part of their work. If you would like to contribute to Emily’s new book please consider contacting her.
We use her two books for moms and dads in our comfort boxes, and have found reading the experiences from others to be helpful.
I imagine that this project would be similar but focusing on the impacts to healthcare workers 💕

Today is Prematurity Awareness Day, and November is Prematurity Awareness Month.
To raise awareness that 1 in 10 babies will be born premature and the concerns that prematurity can bring.
Today we see many stories of children thriving after being born early, but we also know that not all babies have that happy ending.
Today is personally a struggle for me. While I am so happy and thankful for the families who’s children are in their arms, many of us are not so lucky.
Please know that today, even if it is not shared widely, is also for you. The parents who has premature babies, experienced the NICU, and still had to say goodbye 💔.
I see you, and I feel you 💜⭐️

Hi everyone!
Just a quick gentle reminder that our private support group is only for those with first hand experience with baby loss. There are questions that must be answered and group rules accepted prior to allowing anyone in.
This is a safe space to be vulnerable and it is important to keep this integrity for everyone in the group.
I appreciate your understanding in this 💜⭐️

Comfort Box Program - CHU Dumont Foundation Silent auction 'Comfort Box Program - CHU Dumont Foundation' hosted online at 32auctions.
Grateful & Thankful for this community, this weekend during harvest and thanksgiving and every day.
We recognize that holidays can be especially hard on the grieving heart, whether that grief is fresh or you have carried it for a long time. Grief is an expression of love, and we never stop loving those who are no longer here.
A white pumpkin is often used as a symbol for Pregnancy & Infant Loss, placed to represent the life of a little one who is no longer with us. It is a small way to include them in some of these fall traditions.
I am holding space for all of you who are missing someone around your table during this holiday weekend and thankful for the love that lives on in our hearts.
