I am worried by reports that several emergency service personnel have been threatened or even disciplined for speaking out against the government's radical and ideological policies on hard drug use, crime, and homelessness. Instead of silencing Front Line Workers, they should be allowed to voice their concerns.

Prices of groceries have increased by 30-50%, but incomes have not kept pace with this steep rise. Do we really need another burden? Knocking on doors in the highest-altitude neighborhood in the wilderness of Nanaimo Regional District is challenging yet incredibly intriguing. While we may only reach 30 doors in rural areas compared to 100 doors in urban settings, it's equally important to engage citizens living in remote wilderness areas for better governance.
