Hair doesn’t always lift to the highest
level! It can lift warm, cool, and many other things due
to a few different factors!

Natural Hair Color: The natural color of your hair
determines how much lift (lightening) is possible.
Darker hair has more pigment that needs to be lifted,
which can be challenging to achieve in one session
without risking damage! we want to get you to your end
goal, but it is important to tackle it in a way that is
beneficial for your hair

Previous Color Treatments: If your hair has been
previously colored or treated with permanent dyes,
especially darker shades or red tones, this can create
underlying pigments that are difficult to lift out/through
completely! Careful with what you put on your hair
ladies

Condition of Hair: Damaged or compromised hair
may not lift evenly or to the highest levels without
risking further damage. Healthy hair generally
responds better to lightening treatments!

Developer Strength: The strength of the developer
used in bleach, affects how much lift can be achieved
Higher strengths can lift more, but they also increase
the risk of damage: ( and we don’t want that!

Processing Time: Leaving bleach or lightening
products on for too short or too long can affect the
final lift achieved. Sometimes your stylist may decide
to pull the lightener before the hair has reached the
highest level, depending on the clients end goal:)

effectively, it is always best to consult and work with a
licensed professional! Look out for your hair, and let us

ALSO! If you come in with an inspo picture, we will do
whatever we can to get you there! But that can have .
lot to do with the way your hair lifts/reacts to the
bleach. This doesn’t mean that you can never reach
your goal, but it may take a few sessions:)
