Gotta love our 12th Street Little Red Sounds!

My first solo record is released today.

Drew Thomas Christie added his signature drum sound to the tracks and helped bring them to life. It was a pleasure doing pre-production with him and picking his brain in terms of approaches stylistically. The biggest gigs I've played have been with him on stage with me. Our chemistry returned instantly during the first song we played.

Adam Vee has had a hand in every piece of music I've released. In typical fashion, I bounced ideas off him throughout the making of the record. Adam mixed and mastered the songs like only he could and added some extra sonic spice to the mix (dig that Mexican Coke Bottle percussion on "Counterculture Millionaire")

Working with Felix Fung at Little Red Sounds one-on-one for the first time, I got a chance to see just how knowledgeable and sharp he is regarding what a song is and how it should sound to make it the best it can be. We've already recorded the bed tracks for the 2nd Pontiac record and the sounds we were able to get blew us all away.

Joe Groot is considered a bit of a musical savant in our circle of friends back in Ontario. I"'ve been wanting to collaborate with him since we were 15 years old, smoking grass and making up songs on the spot in Shelswell Park. He heard these songs in their first form and helped me elevate the overall quality with his feedback.

Max Cayer of Coup Sur Coup agreed to release this without having heard a single note. One day this guy will be known throughout the entire music industry not only for his various bands but as someone whose personal and work ethics are as on point as any.

Conrad Keely Art did the album cover. His songwriting in his band And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead is among my favourites. His elaborate and gorgeous paintings, drawings, and sketches have been showcased around the world.

The Pontiac career music marathon begins today. I hope you like the tunes.

The tough jobs are covered. The available positions are mostly watching the many 12th Street intersections to make sure no wayward drivers attempt to sneak across 12th!

Bring a Lawn Chair. (we have a folding chair if you prefer.)
Bring a Friend (we would love to have 2 people at every post)
Bring your whole team! (The more the merrier. Our target is just 6 more volunteers, but we have t-shirts for at least 20 more. )
