Wear your sunscreen! Doesn’t matter that summer is coming to an end. Sunscreen should be work on your face daily after cleansing and moisturizing in the morning! UV radiation is one of the primary causes of premature aging.

Sleeping on your side or stomach can create sleep lines on your face by pressing onto your pillow. To help, sleep on your back or invest in a silk pillow case!

Are you removing your makeup at night? Please do! This is a contributing factor to skin aging.

So you’ve had a Botox appointment or considering one? Here are activities to avoid after your appointment and habits to ensure optimal results!💫

💉Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the injection sites for at least 24 hours.

💉Refrain from intense physical activities for at least 24 hours post-treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and allow the Botox to settle properly.

💉Avoid lying down or bending over excessively for at least 4-6 hours after the procedure to prevent the Botox from migrating.

💉Steer clear of saunas, hot tubs, and intense heat for at least 24-48 hours as heat can increase the risk of bruising and affect the Botox’s effectiveness.

💉Avoid consuming alcohol and taking blood-thinning medications like aspirin and ibuprofen for at least 24 hours before and after the treatment to reduce the likelihood of bruising.

💉Postpone any facial treatments, such as facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion, for at least a week after Botox to prevent irritation and displacement.
