Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and friendship over the last two years. It has been such an experience and I come out a changed person. Better for it and for knowing all of you.

These decisions are never made easily. Please remember to support small businesses in this ever growing world of 'convenience' online shopping. It means everything to us.

It is with both heavy hearts and immense gratitude that we announce the closing of Revel Foods on May 18th, 2024. This was an extremely difficult decision that needed to be made for personal reasons, and after much discussion and consultation with our families and inner circle, we’re confident it is the one we need to make at this time.

For the past three years, we’ve worked tirelessly—and joyfully!—to provide clean, healthy, fresh, and sustainably-made food for our cherished customers. It has been our great privilege to serve you. We can’t thank you enough for the loyalty and support you have shown us, and for being such a big part of the Revel story.

As we prepare to close our doors, we want to extend an opportunity to the community: if you are (or know of) a maker looking for the perfect space, our storefront is available for rent. We will happily make an introduction to our amazing landladies to help facilitate the transition. And if you’re looking for a turnkey operation—or an innovative vegan food business perhaps?—let’s talk! Our commercial kitchen, including any or all tools and equipment (appliances, industrial stainless sinks, tables, shelves, commercial label printer, etc.), is available for purchase. Please reach out if you’re interested.

The final date for online orders will be Tuesday, May 7th, and the shop at 503 Pinegrove Road will close for the last time at 2pm on the 18th. We sincerely hope you will continue to visit us in the meantime. We would love nothing more than to see your faces and share these remaining weeks with you.

These beauties are parbaked (a technique in which bread is partially baked and then rapidly frozen) and all you need to do at home is finish them off in the oven for 16-20 minutes.

As a kid and well into my teens and early adulthood, Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup (also Cream of Celery…watch for a new addition to our Impact! Soup Family coming soon) was my go to comfort food. In my mind I can still pull up a chair in the kitchen of my grandparents apartment in Thorncliff Park and tuck into a steaming bowl, with my saltine crackers and my beloved Nanny and Poppa soaking me with love and attention like no other humans on the planet could. Simple is often the most satisfying. One of our favourite quick and easy pasta dinners is noodle of choice tossed in the hot pot with butter, parmesan, fresh lemon, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes (fresh parsley is a very nice addition if you have on hand).⁠

If you want to kick up the nutrition line your bowl with baby spinach, add in your hot pasta and stir. Want to add in some more nutrition? Top with cubed avocado and cherry tomatoes. ⁠
