Mom’s Fresh Tomato Basil Pasta 🌿

Dinner for 2:
✨ Dice 3 Roma tomatoes
✨ Half cup chopped basil 🌿
✨ 1 clove garlic chopped finely
✨ 1 small wheel of brie, torn into small pieces
✨ Mix ingredients together and cover with Olive-Me & Co. roasted garlic EVOO
✨ Marinate for 3-4 hours
✨ Sear 6-8 scallops in 2 tbsp browned butter
✨ When 3/4 done add 3 tbsp Olive-Me & Co Meyer Lemon EVOO & quarter cup of white wine
✨ While scallops are cooking, add your fresh pasta to boiling water
✨ Add your finished scallops to the tomato and cheese mixture
✨ Toss with your pasta and serve

4. Pet care: A few drops of olive oil on pet food can help prevent hairballs, act as a lubricant that can help your furry friend develop a lush, healthy coat It can also relieve dry skin irritation from allergies.

5. Furniture conditioner and polishing agent: Olive oil makes a great wood furniture conditioner and you can also use it on leather shoes to bring back their shine, restore suppleness and protect the leather.

We are proud to be one of nine community foundations of the Golden Horseshoe region who are coming together to help fund Truth and Reconciliation Week 2022!

This year, the educational program produced by the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (NCTR) will feature an in-person gathering held in Mississauga for 5,000 high school students across the region. A portion of the foundations’ contribution will support this new aspect of the week’s programming.

Truth and Reconciliation Week 2022 is now, from September 26-30, 2022 and have both virtual and live in-person components for all grade levels. Educators from across the country are encouraged to register to participate virtually in the free program.
