We are so excited to be offering Watercolur & Mixed Media camps to Crack Pot's summer camp schedule for the first time!

Our expert artist instructors will provide a broad spectrum of drawing and water-colouring. The students will learn in a fun and relaxed environment, and are encouraged to push their art techniques through these materials. Watercolour painting is also an easy & affordable medium for campers to continue creating with at home with all their new skills after camp!

Watercolour & Mixed Media camps run each week from 1:00-4:00 and are suitable for ages 7-15!

Crack Pot Studio - Summer Camp

Join us this summer for a story themed camp, focused on our younger potters, which gives your child the opportunity to be creative while playing with clay.

Each camp is five x 2 hours session over a one week , (Monday to Friday, from 10am to 12pm) with a limited number of student places.

Immerse your child in a fun filled week of story themed handbuilding clay workshops. The children will listen to a new story, followed by a fun teacher led handbuilding clay activities.

Pippa, our resident potter and instructor, will lead the children through various techniques, including slab building, coiling and pinching - All within a fun and creative learning environment.

At the end of the each week, each child will have beautiful pieces of pottery for you and them to cherish forever.

AGE: 4-6 years old

COST: $165 +HST for one week (Monday to Friday), for two hour sessions daily.

Our Pottery Wheel Clay Camps are back at Crack Pot for another summer filled with clay & creativity in our friendly studio! Crack Pot's wheel camps are an introduction to basic throwing skills by an experienced potter. Our expert teachers provide campers with instruction, guidance and loads of encouragement to explore their own creativity.

Our Handbuilding Clay Camps is a fun-filled week of exploring with clay in our friendly studio! Pottery is not just an art form; it's a valuable educational and therapeutic experience for kids. From fostering creativity and fine motor skills to teaching patience and problem-solving, our camps encourage campers to explore with sculpting, coil/slab building and glazing techniques.

WATERCOLOUR camps have been added to our 2024 schedule! 🎨🖌️🧑‍🎨 We are thrilled to welcome a new medium & instructor () to our summer camp line up this year.

Our NEW fun watercolour and mixed media art camps will focus on different techniques or concepts each day that attendees will practice and then apply to a finished piece!
Over the course of the week, attendees will learn about composition, painting from life, and abstract techniques along with technical brush skills and texturing with different tools.
The lessons are adaptable to ages 7-15 year olds and all skill levels. The most important thing is to have fun and to make something participants will love!

That's right! We offer your class a chance for a field trip to visit the studio, OR we get a field trip to bring all our materials where your class can create in a familiar environment!⁠

Crack Pot is happy to offer both clay hand building and ceramic painting workshops for schools! This unique experience is designed to enhance the curriculum while engaging and challenging students and teaching them a new skill. Our workshops can be adapted to suit students from JK to Grade 12 – and teachers will have fun too!⁠
