Round 10 Rugby Recap! 🏉🚨

Our Men’s 1st XV made a statement in their last game of the regular season with a big win over Brampton, while our Women move to 2-0 in the playoffs with a dominant victory against Stoney Creek! Our Men’s 3rd XV rallied late, but fell just short against a strong Bay Street opposition.

There are no fixtures this upcoming weekend due to the long-weekend, but there’s plenty of playoff rugby on the way the weekend after! Can’t wait to get back at it! 💪

We don't know what will be happening on the pitch that day but we do know that, regardless, the fun begins off the pitch around 6pm, so plan to be at the club until LATE!

Live music from Speakeasy, will help us to dance our way into the wee hours with their “Straight Talkin Rock & Soul” playing all the classics and your favourites… if your favourites are the classics that is.

Round 9 Rugby Recap! 🏉🚨

Another successful Saturday at Cru Park in the books! Our Men’s 1st XV defeated Burlington to defend their Challenge Cup, while our Men’s 2nd XV and Women both picked up big wins against Burlington and Norfolk, respectively! Our Men’s 3rd XV fought hard, but came up short against a strong Toronto side.

Thanks to all those who came out to support at Cru Park! Another big weekend of rugby coming up! 💪

While there’s plenty to be excited about this weekend, don’t forget that next weekend is our final Senior home games of the regular season, and what better way to celebrate then with our Party Off The Pitch!

We may be a rugby club, but we’re making an exception for the Euro 2024 Final! The Clubhouse will be open tomorrow, Sunday, July 14th, with doors opening at 2:30 PM, and the match kicking off at 3:00 PM!

And for those who can’t completely switch sports, don’t worry, there is mixed touch on the archery field at 1:30 PM to balance out your day!

Taranaki Development Training Squad 💛🖤

The Taranaki Development Squad will split into 2 teams – Taranaki Maori and Pasifika / Trojans (A merging of Taranaki Pasifika and Taranaki Trojans from Previous Years). More players will be added to these individual squads in due course.

Fixtures 🏉
- Taranaki Maori will play King Country on the 27th July at Clifton.
- Pasifika Trojans will play Manawatu Evergreens on 27th July at Waverley.
- Teams will play against each other on the 3rd August at Tukapa.
- Taranaki Māori will conclude the rep season with a game against Manawatu Māori for the ‘Tuera Shield’ as a curtain raiser to the Bulls v Manawatu NPC match on Sunday 29th September.

A Taranaki Development squad will alarm be named to defend the ‘Centennial Shield’ in the Northern Regions Development programme.

The action only heats up (even more than this week’s weather) at Crusader Park on Saturday, June 22nd, with our U16 Boys hosting the Nomads at 11:00 AM, our Women’s team defending home turf in their opener against Stoney Creek at 12:30 PM, our Men’s 2nd XV taking on the Nomads at 2:00 PM, and the grand finale, the Penalta Cup showdown between our Men’s 1st XV and the Nomads at 3:30 PM.
