The Jamaican (Ottawa) Community Association Inc. invites you to join us for our 28th Annual Heroes Awards and Gala. An evening honouring those who have made a difference in our community as our nation celebrates 55 years of Independence.

This year’s Guest Speaker is the multi-talented Rev. Karen Redwood, with Eldon Holder Jr. as our MC for the evening.

Special performance by Angele Smith (from Jamaica) with DJ's David Supersound and DJ Tytus!

The event will take place at St. Anthony Banquet Hall, 523 St. Anthony Street (off Preston) - cocktails 6-7pm and a four course sit-down meal at 7pm.

Did you know?

In celebration of Jamday 2017 and the 2017 Grey Cup Festival, Jamday will feature 2 Redblacks players this year!

Jerrell Gavins and Nicholas Taylor will be dropping by – a great opportunity to get autographs and photos with them!

Both players will be available at around 4:00pm – 6:00pm at the 105th Grey Cup Festival Tent at Jamday 2017.

Be sure to visit this tent as they will also have games and will be handing out temporary tattoos!
