Red Pine Leadership Camp
A one week overnight camp for youth entering grades 7-11 with a focus on leadership.
Red Pine Leadership Camp (RPLC) is for youth entering grades 7-10 in the fall and offers an intensive leadership program as well as a wonderful outdoor camp experience. Staff Training for RPLC 2024 - fabulous weekend with our staff!! We are already counting down the days until we see all of our campers in August!
RPLC opens and closes camp with everyone standing together in a circle.
When camp opens on the Sunday we tie the camp rope, binding us all together for the week of camp. At the end of the week, we all add a piece of ourselves to the rope, tying on a tag with our name and a memory/saying adding to the history that builds each year.
In our closing circle we reflect on the week - our growth, friendships, experiences and what we might take back with us into our school, family and community lives.
And then, amidst the tears, we untie the rope; breaking the circle and sending everyone back out into their communities to share their leadership and wonderful selves with the world.
We will miss each and every one of you and can’t wait to have you back next year!!
A few more photos from our fabulous week at RPLC!! Thanks to our campers and camper families!!
Buses on the way!! Slightly later than planned but they will be at IKEA at 4:40ish.
Smiles all around (even when the nights are cold).

And remember that Connection matters!
The pandemic has affected all of us, both as a community and as individuals. But being apart physically does not mean that we have to lose all connections.
We encourage you to reach out to each other, friends and family during this challenging time.
