As we step into summer, let's take a look at how the Ottawa real estate market has performed so far in 2024.
📊 Market Highlights:
Residential Sales: Up 4.2% with 7,109 homes sold. Average price at $681,345 (+1.6%).
Single-Family Homes: Sales up 7.2% to 3,722. Average price at $830,531 (+0.6%).
Townhomes: Sales increased by 3.5% to 2,296. Average price steady at $551,437.
Condos: Sales dipped by 2.6% to 1,066, but average price rose to $450,450 (+3.1%).
Despite low inventory levels, the market remains resilient and continues to grow.

On Tuesday, Lauren ran a seminar for the team about stress and time management. When it comes to our schedules, we’re often our own worst enemies. Negative self-talk and poor planning lead to stressful and overwhelming days.

The team had an amazing time yesterday at the softball tournament yesterday! Our team came second by only one point, and we couldn’t have been happier with the result! Such a fun time with friends and colleagues.

• Total residential sales are up 5.2%, reaching 5,673.
• Average sales price increased by 1.8%, now at $679,862.
• Months of inventory rose to 2.3 from 1.9, providing more options for buyers but still showing a moving market.
Single Family Homes (Year-to-Date)
• Sales increased by 6.6%, totalling 2,951.
• Average sales price rose by 1.5% to $830,739.
• Months of inventory is up to 2.6 from last year’s 2.1.
Townhomes (Year-to-Date)
• Sales are up 5.5%, reaching 1,843.
• Average sales price saw a minimal increase, now at $550,745.
• Months of inventory continue to decrease, sitting at 1.7 signalling an increasing demand.
Condos (Year-to-Date)
• Sales increased by 2.1%, totalling 859.
• Average sales price up by 4.3% to $448,924.
• Months of inventory is up to 2.8 from 2.4, but supply is still shrinking.
