announced earlier this year that over the next year, they’ll be switching all their leathers to vegetable tanned leather. This is real leather that has been coloured using the tannins from tree bark as opposed to toxic chemicals.

Our first styles made in this manner are the Straw Collection. Made from buttery, honey coloured vegetable tanned leather they will darken and get better with age. It has a nostalgic, earthy smell, and a tough durable feel. They’ll develop a patina over time, like beautifully worn in saddle.
