This month, Night of Lights brings you a show like no other. October, we bring you a takeover show and an amazing cast.


Omari B Johnson is a self-taught dancer known for
his smooth moves all around Ottawa's drag king
scene. He's been performing for 4 years around
Ottawa and Toronto. He recently competed and is
the reigning Mr Capital Pride 2023. Swizzles, Ottawa,
you boy Omari is all you need!!

Our cast for the evening:


Joe Zaddy is an Ottawa-based Lebanese drag king
and co-producer of the Capital Kingdom all kings
drag show. This energetic and charming performer
will have you up on your feet dancing the dabkeh.
Whether it's solving a cube or playing the derbakeh,
you'll wish you were taking those hands home
tonight.


Viva has been dancing for over 20 years. Since making her burlesque debut in 2018, Viva has been bringing her style to stages all over Ottawa (Ottawa Winter Pride) and burlesque festivals across Canada and the US. She's a burlesque instructor at Rouge Studio of Dance, captain of the Rougettes burlesque troupe, the co-producer of Dangerous Curves Burlesque and Rouge Light District, and is a passionate advocate for diverse representation on stage.


Stripes shows leadership in the drag scene, being one of many voices for the BIPOC community. They always come to a show, giving it 110% on the energy level and bringing a whole new side to drag. They're unconventional yet elegant and a powerhouse of a drag artist who is sure to leave you gagging.

The non-binary POC(mutant) drag performer of your
dreams have arrived! Mx. Tique is a self-taught
dancer who will leave you craving more of their presence after every performance. With only half a
year in the drag scene under their belt, they're more
than ready to serve energy, facials, and body!


Coming from an African background and living in
Canada, since a young age, Xtravaganja Afrika brings an international influence and knows how to
entertain the audience with her talents. Drag is her
passion, and a way to express her femininity and as
a q***r person.

Hey yo, my Bendamoanians. It is the best yoga pose here, Ben Dover. Ben has been doing drag for 5 years and loves the opportunity to reinvent himself every time he performs.

Ben has had the opportunity to open the show for famous Drag Queens such as Vanessa Vanji and Priyanka.

Ben is also a part of an all Drag King Troupe named O-Town Packers and has been creating Boy Band like numbers together.

He is known for winning Mr. Capital Pride 2020 - 2021 and winning Mr. Gananoque 1000 Islands Pride 2021-2022. Ben looks forward to continuing to prove that Drag Kings are fierce as any form of drag.

Spicy Pancetta is a 37 year old mom of 2 who is out to prove that not only is all drag valid, but drag is for everyone. Her style is eclectic, varying from classic Disney songs to 90's deep cuts to alternative rock. Having come on to the scene 5 years ago, she can't see stopping until she needs a walker... which should be in a year or 2! Remember to be kind and always keep it Spicy!
