Alfajr School teaches students from ages 4 to 20 years old to read and pronounce the Holy Quran correctly and memorize several chapters of Quran in 14 different levels of Quran classes.

Alfajr school will be offering classes in the Scott mosque only every Sunday from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm Starting July 7th. Registration: $40 per per student.

Join us for a rare opportunity to pray salat al-Kusuf in the month of Ramadan.

Salat al-kusuf is a special prayer done during a solar eclipse in accordance to the Sunnah of the Prophet (S). The prayer will begin at 2:45pm and it is expected to be long. It will be followed by a reminder by our Imams about the greatness of Allah SWT and about the solar eclipse which occurred during the lifetime of the Prophet (S).

Please follow all Ottawa Public Health advice to ensure your safety during the eclipse. This includes wearing proper glasses and avoiding looking at the sun. It is expected that the eclipse will begin at 2:30pm and end at 4:35pm.

You are invited to join us for dhur and stay until asr to minimize exposure to the sun during this period.
