First time doing cork flooring, very nice to walk on. This went in a bedroom and den. Sealed with a 2k polyurethane/ceramic coating.

Slowly but surely. Just putting some finishing touches on this bathroom Reno now.

Annexed a (big) closet to double the size of the ensuite master bathroom.

Had lots of fun doing it.

This is why I genuinely love what I do. It's always something different. These clients had a bunch of alder milled up 35 years ago when they built their house. They did the living room floors in it and stuck the leftovers in the basement. 35 years later they ask if I can use the leftovers to do their stairs. It was fun because the materials cost was nearly 0$ every piece was made from these boards. They turned out pretty good!

Tried out some new techniques for getting a mirror finish on these boards. Here are some different things reflecting off of them.

Holy man has it taken some time to get these pads to the finish I'm looking for. Spent the weekend wet sanding to 1500 grit and Laying final coat. Monday will come back and buff with polishing compound. Install Tuesday :)

Spent the last few weeks puttering along on this custom fence in nanoose. What would have usually been a day's work drilling holes for the fence posts turned into a week of jackhammering and wrestling boulders out of the ground. But the posts are up and ready to start finishing 300 clear yellow cedar boards. The result should be stunning.

Looking forward to getting this deck stained once the weather gets a bit nicer. Built this in December during the snow storm

I always appreciate when clients want to take the time to finish the lumber before assembly. Having all sides stained makes such a difference.

This kitchen island with flush mount stove top really changed the game at the Kennedy house

This was a fun little project. A custom cat closet. The litter box is hidden behind the door on the bottom. The platforms were later adorned with different toys/beds.

Pouring a cedar fenceline a while back. Shoutout to island mini mix, making it cheaper than mixing bags.

Staging yellow cedar for many coats of stain. This lumber had been sitting under a tarp for many years but cleaned right up with some planing and sanding.

Replacing rotten subfloor after a plumbing leak and doing a little bathroom refresh in the process. This old home had 5 layers of flooring in the bathroom.
