When Ryan is not doing school work, or helping out our team to bring our mascot Reno to life, he’s volunteering his time as Nanoose Bay’s most junior firefighter.

While he can’t go running into burning buildings like his dad just yet (much to his disappointment), he often suits up for community events, fire education for local schools, and the rigorous weekly training.

Community is everything, and he loves supporting his. Maybe he got that from his mum?!?

Team Susan Forrest was overjoyed to be a part of the Oceanside Hospice Society’s annual golf tournament yesterday at Fairwinds Golf Club with all funds raised going directly to this vitally important organization.

It may surprise you to know that the majority of their funding comes from personal donations and events like this one, so the support of fundraising efforts like the golf tournament make it possible for them to continue to expand their programs and offerings to the community. 💕

We had a WONDERFUL time with friends, old and new, and enjoyed not only the golf, but the dinner, awards and silent auction, as well!

Our team also ran the putting contest which was so much fun and ONE golfer sank his putt for all the marbles! ⛳️

We already can't wait until next year!
