It is with a heavy heart we announce that we must temporarily suspend any further bookings, due to the sad fact that Kyla’s 11-year-old daughter has had a serious accident.

We ask that you fill out our secure health form on our website, and you will be put on a waiting list for when our office re-opens.

There will be the clients booked prior to you who will also need to be rebooked, and so we ask for your patience and understanding while we try to navigate the situation—and we ask that you offer up prayers and healing energy for little Alethea (Alee).

Warmest wishes

Tattoos can help reframe the body and help people regain confidence. They can transform trauma into something beautiful, on the individual’s own terms. 🦋

We have now heard back from our appeal to Health Ontario and they do not consider medical tattooing an ‘essential service.’

This is most devastating news, and we wish we could give each one of you who have been waiting for our services a BIG hug.

The best way forward is for us to put you on our list to contact you once we know we can reopen.

There will be the clients booked prior to you who will also need to be rebooked, and so we ask for your patience and understanding while we try to navigate these challenging and unprecedented times.

Myself and my staff miss you very much, and look forward to seeing you once government restrictions are lifted.

labor omnia vincet,

They say a mother is someone who gives more than she has to those she loves. Really every day should celebrate mothers and mothers figures but today let me tell you a story about my mother and another mother who made this weekend so special.
As you know things have been challenging for so many but particularly my mom due to health stuff and trying to keep her little company going despite goverment closures, greedy landlords and an accident.
One of moms clients who has been through so much abd has very little donated a HUGE amount on Friday to the free work mom does for young trauma kids.
This lady couldn’t really afford to do that but she’s did anyways and mom does not want to accept but the client is insisting. The donation will help moms company make it thru but mom worries more about this person and the fact she can’t afford such a big donation.
As a kid watching all of this and having to help read out texts abd enaiks abd stuff to mom I’m left wondering why all the stories I’ve been hearing about sacrifice are usually woman. Usually mothers or woman who may not have children but mother others kids which is pretty amazing in of itself. Is it cause men don’t know how or not as willing or hopefully maybe cause we just don’t celebrate their stories in the same way?
This Mother’s Day I promised my mom I want to be the type of boy who becomes the type of man who shows others that men can share and empathize and help the way women can. Not to be competing with moms or women that’s bit what I mean. I mean to be inspired by their many, many examples of kindness and giving.
When I was small we read the Giving Tree in school and I was so sad for that tree giving everything abd that boy not giving back.
Maybe there’s a lesson that if we all gave more some wouldn’t have to give so much.
I hope that client knows that just the offer made my mom so thankful and tgat she should keep the money she needs so much. I hope others will join me in stepping up to give so that others don’t have to sacrifice so much. Our mothers do so much. Our fathers too but today it’s about the examples the women in our life have given us to help us learn to do the same and hopefully we all rise up to that challenge. So rise up and give thanks and rest yourself to return the love and kindness the women in your life have shown you. Thank you for reading. 🤗Alex
