For Wear Where Wednesday, we took a step back in time and visited the historic Pig’s Ear Tavern. Located at 144 Brock Street, between Water and George
This establishment originally opened in 1865 as the St. Maurice Saloon. The bar closed in 2017 after the former owners sold the building, but is now open again, thanks to new owners Ashley Holmes and Steven Robertson. Horray!!
‘The Piggy’ has become a cherished part of the city and a fan-favourite for Trent U and Sir Sandford Fleming College students.

Saturday - Live Bands perform
Do you have a friend with a birthday coming up? Plan a fun get-together and the Pigs Ear. The staff will make sure the birthday person gets a free T Shirt and a Pickled Egg with a candle. Can’t beat that for a one of a kind memory!

Happy everyone!! ☔️😉

If you climb the stairs to the second floor of 172 Simcoe St., you’ll find yourself at the bright pink door of 🧚Pretty Little Prix🧚 (you can’t miss it!), residence of the incredibly talented piercer Jessie Darling, and administrative extraordinaire Jubby! Decorated with a mix of vintage and pop art, colourful characters, and a (generous) dash of whimsy, walking into their booth feels like you’re travelling to an entirely new dimension.

While they may be new to Peterborough, having been at Riverside for almost 2 years, Jessie has been piercing for over a decade. Jessie offers an array of body and ear piercings, as well as jewelry styling. Whether you’re interested in a piercing or styling, Pretty Little Prix prioritizes a safe space, ensuring above all that their clients feel comfortable and cared for. 💓
