This hardworking mama has kicked butt and lost all her post pregnancy weight (and more). She was feeling a little bit “tired looking” and naturally had lost weight in her face causing it to look a bit harsh and rigid.
We were able to subtly add some volume to soften transitions and restore volume to areas where it was lost.

Duration: 1-1.5 hours
Pain: tolerable. Numbing in lips and stress ball to help take the edge off.
Side effects: Bruising, bleeding inevitable to varying degrees. Achey for a couple of days. Minor swelling.
Icing and Tylenol to help reduce pain and swelling.

Swelling will usually go down 20-30% after the guest 3-5 days

Post-care:
✅swelling and bruising are common
✅Intermittent icing and Tylenol to reduce ache and swelling
✅Arnica tablets to reduce bleeding, bruising and swelling and speed up recovery time (can take before treatment to have in system before injections)

❌Avoid exercising for 24 hours post treatment.
❌Avoid naturally or synthetically occurring blood thinners — NSAIDs (Aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, Advil), alcohol, vitamin E, omega etc) for 48 hours post procedure
❌Avoid hot tubs, sauna, steam room for 24 hours.
❌Avoid pressure on lips (ie: crunching into an apple, sipping from a straw, intense kissing, or leaning on your hand. Avoid massaging or touching the area)
❌Avoid make up for at least 4 hours until injection points are healed up.

⚠️Intense pain and white/dusky grey appearance are not normal. Call injector if this occurs.
⚠️Allow two full weeks to allow swelling to resolve before returning to clinic for follow up

Post care TOXIN:
⭐️Exercise targeted muscles immediately after procedure for 1 hour to allow for effective spread and integration of toxin
⭐️ Remain upright. No laying down for 4 hours post treatment.
⭐️No touching or massaging of the treated area. Leave it alone!
⭐️ No intense sun/heat, sauna, steam room, or hot tub for 24 hours. ⭐️ No intense working out 24-48 hours post injections.
⭐️Avoid make up for at least 4 hours to let those injection points heal up ⭐️to reduce infection.
⭐️ Avoid alcohol and ibuprofen/Motrin/Advil for at least 24 hours, best for 72.
⭐️Allow 2 full weeks for optimal results. Although should start seeing effects within 3-7 days!

FILLER post care
All of the above PLUS
⭐️ No biting an apple, sipping from a straw, firm kissing - anything that would cause added pressure on lips that would cause shifting of filler.
⭐️ Stay hydrated. Hyaloronic Acid (aka filler) absorbs water - so drinking not only produces added volume but also preserves the shelf life of HA in your lips and/or various other areas filled.
⭐️ Ice to reduce swelling. Bruising is normal and is noticeable around injection sites as well as swelling. These should go away in 3-7 days.
⭐️ if any pain, or discolouration if skin contact injector immediately.
⭐️ avoid travel 2 weeks post procedure to ensure your safety. Although rare, injection accidents do occur and you want to be in good hands if they do.
