Today the BMO ASAHTOWIKAMIK Food Hub stands as an example of what is possible when we dream big together. We are grateful for BMO Financial Group $1m investment into our community. We share their purpose of boldly growing the good.
Tomorrow a mother and her kids will visit this building. They will be greeted as friend with a smile. They will walk through a choice model food bank that looks and feels like a grocery store. They will choose the food their family leaves and hold their head high. Thank you to BMO Financial Group for dreaming with us. Thank you to Drum Group for your performance and for all our supporters. This legacy is yours. We are creating a healthier Regina.

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone for the Regina Food Bank as MNP announces their generous $100k investment and sponsorship of a choice aisle at our new Community Food Hub.

This significant contribution provides a substantial hand-up for our 17,000 clients, reinforcing MNP’s partners and staff’s proud history of supporting the Regina Food Bank. Their dedication to this cause continues to shine through with this remarkable act of kindness.

Sean Kosier, Partner at MNP, also shared his thoughts on this partnership: “Seeing the work that the Food Bank does each and every day, it is clear that it serves a vital need within our city. Giving back to the communities that we work and live in is very important to us, so when we heard about the ground-breaking concept of the Community Food Hub, we knew it was something we wanted to be a part of.”

Join us in thanking MNP for their incredible support and unwavering commitment to changing the lives of people in our city! 🌟

Shaunavon artist Andrew Robertson was commissioned to paint "Harvest of Hope" for our new Food Hub. The work shows that while food important the most powerful form of nourishment is care. It powerfully connects farm to food bank and donor to recipient. It will be displayed inside and externally as a mural for all to see. If you have been downtown you might have noticed all the art at the Community Food Hub. We are working to celebrate and display the work of local artists inside the building and out. Josh Goff is a celebrated mural and tattoo artist. Our project shows an "endless table" illustrating that everyone has a seat at our table and in the prairies we sew the seeds of community. Our Food Hub will feed our community but also enrich it! We hope our project helps revitalize this part of our community. Say hi to Josh as he finishes our mural and watch for more artists that we will be profiling in the coming weeks. Heritage Community Association Regina Downtown BID

⚠ Poor economic development
⚠ Lower graduation rates

Food bank usage has increased by 76% in the past 5 years – but you can help change these statistics. Your donation to the Community Food Hub will help us increase access to healthy food for families in our city.

We’re seeking a Saskatchewan artist to help us depict the connection between farm to table, farm to food bank, rural to urban, and to illustrate that while we feed the world we can also feed our neighbours here at home. We want to celebrate our agriculture and food story. Your art will adorn the outside of our new downtown Community Food Hub and enrich our downtown. The piece will need to be 11x17 or under. It can be paint, sketch or digital form. It will eventually be scanned, enlarged and displayed on the corner of 12th and Broad. Think you can help? Contact us at [email protected] or DM us.
