Introducing Lunch and Learn Sessions!!

SSA will be hosting Monthly Lunch and Learn sessions on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Bring your lunch and join us online from 12:00-1:00pm. Each month we will review a different theme from the Everyone’s Game strategies.

Our first cohort for the C Diploma filled up quick! The second cohort is open for registration until August 16 so be sure to secure your spot as there are only 10 spaces left!

Here are some details:

Online Dates: October 3, 10, 17, 2024 7:00-9:00pm

In Person Session #1: October 23, 24, 25, 2024 (Regina SK) Full Days (Time to be confirmed)

In Person Session #2: April 23, 24, 25, 2025 (Saskatoon SK) Full Days (Time to be confirmed) *Dates subject to change*

The C Diploma is designed for those coaching grassroots players, and also competing in Canada Soccer National Championships. This is also the requirement to be a head coach in the SSA PSL league. It is a 75 hour long course with 6 days in person and 3 online synchronous sessions. Each student coach will be provided with a coach developer mentor who will work with them throughout the year.

All dates are mandatory. If a coach does not attend all scheduled online and in-person events, they will be removed from the course.

Power chair soccer is a game where players use powerchairs equipped with footguards to pass, shoot and carry the ball to score the most goals. The sport is played in a gymnasium. Each team is allowed 4 players on the court at one time including the goalkeeper. ⁠

Join us on Saturday at Saskatoon Soccer Centre for the Prairie Soccer League Semi-Finals in each of our divisions.

Congratulations to Saskatoon Alliance Black U15 Girls, QC United U17 Girls and Saskatoon Alliance Blue U17 Boys, who have advanced directly to the PSL Finals in their respective divisions and will await their opponent.

Walking Soccer is just that… a walking version of the Beautiful Game. Its adaptive form offers opportunities to both the participant and the organization that may not have otherwise been available.

Ideal for those with mobility or health issues, seniors, and those with injuries that would love a chance to get back on the pitch. This camp is for participants 16 years of age or over.

Mark your calendars! Soccer Day in Saskatchewan 2024 will be held on Saturday, July 20th in Regina at Leibel Field and University of Regina.

This year’s event will be a single day of events – which will include the Prairie Soccer League Finals for U15 and U17, a Youth & Mini Camp and Youth 3v3 Tournament with Team & Individual Registration available and an afternoon of adaptive soccer try it events.
