Saskatoon Short Track powered by Al Kraus Real Estate is on for tonight. The park is in good shape, but the weather is a bit variable. Group sessions may be delayed, abbreviated, or cancelled depending on the conditions at the time. Dress for conditions and see you all out there.

Not only is this a policy River Ridge Trails but it is also a typical policy at most comparable trail networks too! Know where you're allowed to use what!

Ride the Ridge Sask Cup 2 (well it ended up be 1) went down today to a great reception. River Ridge Trails once again provided an amazing venue for the event and we put a unique spin on the course for today's competitors. We had a nice mix of the seasoned regulars and a bunch of new faces too!

Hey, so we ditched the late registration penalty that was supposed to start an hour ago, so regular registration rates will apply until 5pm tomorrow when all registration closes. If you were on the fence hope off it and register now!

Not going to say anything, at all, but still going to post this here for all the fair weather riders out there.... Everyone can check for themselves too...

Today is the last day for the regular registration price for Ride the Ridge this weekend. Get your registration in before 5pm this evening to avoid the extra $20 late registration fee. It's going to be a great race and the park looks to be in fabulous shape!

And don't forget to put your kids in the Hayleebird kids race too! Their own little race on a purpose built trail with the kids in mind!

Attn! This week's RRT Mini Enduro series race that was rained out is rescheduled for May 28. Otherwise all of the details stay the same. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather this time around to get this series kicked off!

A little cloudy and cool tonight but we'll be setup and ready to go for Saskatoon Short Track powered by anyway this evening. C'mon out and see our kids learning mountain bike skills and racing while having a blast doing so!

So this is the weather forecast we woke up to today for the area. We went out this morning too, and while the area didn't receive quite that much rain, it did receive a lot and we don't think there is any reasonable chance of it all drying up before this evening. To be responsible stewarts of the park, we are postponing tonight's kickoff to the Mini Enduro Series. We'll announce the makeup date shortly, so stay tuned.

Getting geared up for the kickoff to the Mini Enduro Series at

We'll be doing a live field test of the timing system tomorrow (Tuesday May 14) evening for anyone who wants to come out, ride a few laps, practice tapping in/out, and help us familiar all of the settings. We'll target to have it set up to go on Grass Kicker around 6:45 for laps.

No cost to participate here but you'll have to sign a waiver and you can buy your timing chip ($5) at the time which will be good for the whole series and more.

River Ridge Trails has been such an amazing project and the whole board is working hard now to keep it going. Here is a great way to win some prizes plus support the park.

Tonight's Saskatoon Short Track powered by is cancelled due to the expected weather during the event. We'll kick off the series on May 8th now, see you all then!

Ok, we have an adjustment to the RRT mini Enduro series announced last week. We're going to kick things off on May 21st now due to a previously unaccounted for conflict, and it gives us a little more time to get everything set up too.

If you were hoping to come join us still on May 14th though, don't worry, we're still going to be out there running a live field test with the timing system. So you'll be able to buy your timing chip at that time and ride some trails with the system setup and working, and practice tapping in/out with the chip. No registration required for May 14, just yourself, bike, helmet, and willingness to sign the waiver.

EVENTS ALERT!

Oh boy do we have some stuff coming up quick!

First off, our annual Ride the Ridge Sask Cup race is going down on May 26 out at and this year, for the first time, it's going to be the warm up for the provincial championships later in August. So get all of that winter rust shaken off.

Now for something a little different, introducing the RRT Mini Enduro Series. Join us for a fun Enduro format race on Tuesday May 14, June 11, July 9, and/or August 13. Sign up for the whole series or just an event or two. Prizes, beverages, snacks and socializing in Langham after each event. Check out the event page for more info!

Despite this blast of "it's still winter" we're still putting the final touches on the season's plans and we'll be ready to go come May 1st. We still have some spaces left in all age brackets, but there's not much more time to wait before the first day of fun, so get those registrations completed and we'll see you out there!
