Welcome to RIVA - a family built on dedication, camaraderie, and a love of track & field❤️
RIVA’s Profiled Athlete to end 2023 is Katherine Rogers. Katie is a grade 11 French Immersion student at Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw.
Some of Katie’s top performances during the 2023 outdoor season were 1st in the 1500m and 3000m, 3rd in the 800m, and junior girls aggregate winner at SHSAA Provincials in June 2023. At Legion Nationals this past summer, Katie placed 9th in the 3000m and 12th in the 1500m.
Katie also had a successful cross country season placing 2nd at SHSAA XC provincials, 3rd at ACXC provincials, and an impressive 14th at ACXC Nationals in Ottawa last month.
Katie’s goals for this upcoming season are to improve her PB times and to improve her placements at the provincial and national levels. Katie also wants to learn more about the sport from the RIVA coaches and athletes this season.
Katie has been in involved in Saskatchewan track and field since the beginning of 2022 when she started running competitively. After about a year and a half of slowly improving, Katie decided she wanted to take it to the next level. Riversdale caught her eye “because of the close community of all the athletes and coaches. It was clear to see that the coaches gave their athletes the ability to train to their full potential. Ever since joining the club in July of this year, I have felt welcomed, cared for, and respected by everyone. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that was offered to me to be apart of of this club!”
Outside of track, Katie enjoys spending time with her two older sisters and her friends and family. She enjoys working and volunteering at the local hospital.
Congratulations on your past accomplishments and good luck as the new season begins. RIVA is proud to have you as part of our track family! ❤️

Outside of track Adrianna enjoys school and club volleyball. In the summer she likes to wake surf.
Adrianna just joined Riversdale this past spring and has really enjoyed the coaches and the atmosphere that Riversdale provides. Good luck to you, Adrianna, as you begin your training for this upcoming season. We can’t wait to watch you grow in your track abilities. ❤️
