Our artist applications open November 1 and all applications will be considered for our Saskatoon auditions in March. But if you’re up north or willing to make the trek, reach out to them now and you can audition early!

🎸 Calling All Bands! 🎤

We’re recruiting bands for auditions for the Ness Creek Music Festival!! Auditions will take place on November 2nd, 2024! If you’re ready to show off your skills and rock the stage, we want to hear from you!

Reach out by email to [email protected] to sign up. A drum kit will be provided, but remember to bring your own snares and cymbals. Each band will play 4-5 songs depending on song length and sign-ups. The deadline to apply for auditions is November 1, 2024.

Volunteer at BreakOut West!

BreakOut West is coming to Saskatoon September 24-29.

Breakout West features an immersive music industry and artist development conference, and a festival with 50+ artists performing across multiple venues. The festival highlights Western Canadian talent alongside select International and Pan-Canadian artists.

Volunteer at the event and get a weekend badge that lets you into every show so that you can catch as many artists as possible! All of the festival venues are in the Broadway area, so you can jump between shows easily each night.

Wowza! Our presale tickets are SOLD OUT! We love you! We’re still in a post-festival haze but we’re already behind-the-scenes starting to plan out what next year looks like.

In the meantime, the wonderful Melanie McPherson of NSMZ covered our festival (and she was a first timer!) and couldn’t have summed it up better. We had an amazing time, despite the crazy heat and bugs, and we hope you all did too.

The festival is just one sleep away and it’s looking like it’s going to be a scorcher. But don’t forget to pack for all seasons - and remember your swimsuit!

There is still a fire ban in place so plan accordingly. Propane firepits and barbecues are allowed and encouraged.

IMPORTANT INFO

There is currently a provincial fire ban in place. We are optimistically watching the weather - it’s forecasting to be a hot one 🥵 - but it is very possible the fire ban will still be in place during the festival. We’re still going to have a rocking time!

Propane fire pits are allowed and encouraged. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.

While we’re talking about the weather, make sure you pack for all seasons - cold, wet, dry and hot! Don’t forget a reusable water bottle and electrolytes are never a bad idea. We can’t wait to see you!
