Try taking a class that goes beyond its title!
In RLST 282: Religious Perspectives on Death and Dying, discussions range from religious ideas of the afterlife to the historically religious roots of vampires and zombies!
Peek into the world of literature courses at STM!
In ENG 230: Literature for Children, students explore children's literature throughout history, workshop writing skills with classmates, and participate in a collaborative class environment. Whether you're interested in writing stories or deep-diving your childhood favourite, we're sure you'll take away a deeper appreciation of the genre.
Registration is right around the corner!
There are many courses to choose from, so we thought we'd share some fun and interesting things that happen in STM classes. Maybe you'd like to make a mocktail in a Religious Studies course, play a life-sized board game to learn about societal systems or listen to international guest speakers in your Spanish class.
What will you learn this year?
What a busy second term at STM! Take time to review the many achievements, initiatives, and insight from our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and leadership at St. Thomas More College.

Thank you, Tina, for your care and enthusiasm in the Engaged Learning Office this year!
Tina coordinated student volunteers and ran community suppers where students learned about pressing issues facing our community. She also worked with STM instructor Tracey Carr on launching the Engaged Learning Healthcare Project which provides students with meaningful ways to learn applicable skills in healthcare research. This co-curricular project is in partnership with Community Health & Epidemiology.
Today is Michelle's last day as our Student Recruitment Intern. She's travelled around the province, talking to students about STM. Here she is with our Recruitment Officer, Linda, at her last event.

We've asked a few saints to pray for students who are out searching for eggs:
- St. Thomas Aquinas (patron saint of students)
- St. Thomas More (our namesake)
- St. John Henry Cardinal Newman (namesake of our student lounge)
- St. Anthony (patron saint of lost things)
- St. Nicholas (patron saint of chocolate makers)
- St. Fiacre (patron saint of gardeners)
- St. Beauregard (patron saint of ripening difficult fruits, because, why not?)
- St. Jude (patron saint of lost causes, for good measure)
While there's only one prize per student daily, we appreciate it when you return all the eggs you've found so we can put out more!
If you think finding eggs is fun, try the games at our year-end student party!
