My debut Directing, Stage Manager and Writing for the Theatre/Stage, Out of the Cold - A Satire by RN Wagner. Written in 3 weeks and performed at the 20th anniversary of OOTC. Some of the actors were staying at Out of the Cold - St. Catharines, and with all our lived experience, past and present of staying in shelters, myself included, we created magik. We knew Mayor of STC would be in attendance, so we had created a scene where a Homeless Pakistani Doctor/Healer and his brother come to the rescue, after realizing that calling #211 would not remedy a Spa Treatment mishap/disaster. Even though Mayor Sendzik is compassionate, he couldn't grow the toes back on 'Dono-van-Damn' (Donovan Taylor) when Head Mistress Gayle Cane (Gayle Peel of South Africa) accidentally poured hot oil grease into his footbath instead of hot water.
